4. Dive Into Fun at Singapore Oceanarium’s Ocean Kids Festival!

Singapore Oceanarium (ę–°åŠ å”ęµ·ę“‹ē”Ÿę€é¦†) invites families to dive into Ocean Kids Festival, a new seasonal line-up of experiences that adds extra wonder to a visit during the March school holidays and beyond.Ā

They offer many exciting experiences for kids, starting with the Little Ocean Expert Series, a 45-minute meet-the-expert session designed for children aged 7 to 12. During the session, your child will get to meet specialists such as a diver, marine veterinarian, marine conservationist, marine researcher, animal care specialist, or habitat presenter, and even dress up in kid-sized Singapore Oceanarium uniforms, lab coats, or dive suits.

Little ones can also take part in hands-on activities such as creating their own coral reef, joining a Fossilist Workshop, exploring seahorse biology, behaviour and conservation through the Animal Spotlight programme, and creating a marine-themed badge to take home.

Families can also browse and borrow books at the National Library Board’s Molly the Mobile Library pop-up, which will take place for four days from 16 to 19 March 2026, from 9am to 5pm, extending the learning experience even further.

5. Step Into a Forest of Wonders at Marina Square’s Balloon Festival!

Venue: Marina Square Central Atrium
Dates: 14 - 22 Mar 2026

The much-anticipated annual Balloon Festival is back at Marina Square this March school holidays! Visitors will step into theĀ ā€œForest of Wondersā€, an immersive balloon experience that brings fantasy to life through larger-than-life balloon artistry. More than just a visual spectacle, the magical balloon installation sparks joy, wonder, and childlike imagination.

A captivating 12-metre-tall Strawberry Fairy House stands in the heart of the balloon installation, drawing attention as one enters the enchanting forest. Sculpted to resemble a giant ripe strawberry with textured seeds and a leafy green crown roof, the alluring fairy-tale house stokes curiosity with its white framed windows and a mint green door. Two fanciful fruit fairies perch atop the roof, while a lush forest of blooming flowers and layered greenery surrounds the house. Enter the fairy-tale house and be immersed in a kaleidoscope of magical clouds and an enchanting realm with strawberry-scented mist!

Beyond the entrancing installations, families can learn balloon sculpting techniques and create their own magical keepsake together. This engaging one-hour session invites participants to create an adorable balloon sculpture, either a bear or an octopus. Available on 14, 15, 21 & 22 March (Sat & Sun), 4pm, the workshops are priced at $20 per parent child pair.Ā
