1. Spend Some Fun Family Time at Children’s Season 2025

Children’s Season 2025 is back with an exciting lineup of family-friendly programmes across participating museums! 

Held in celebration of SG60 and supported by Yeo’s as its first corporate sponsor, the festival features storytelling sessions, craft workshops, interactive theatre, heritage trails and more—perfect for children aged 3 to 12. Families can also join the Children’s Season 2025 Stamp Booklet Adventure, collecting stamps from different venues to win exclusive prizes. Highlights include futuristic machine-building and gem painting at the Children’s Museum Singapore, sensory play and storytelling at the National Museum of Singapore, and a monster-themed arts carnival at The Arts House.

Many programmes are free or affordably priced, and some are even designed for grandparents and grandchildren to enjoy together. 2. Dive into the Magical World of Disney’s Lilo & Stitch at Gardens by the Bay Children’s Festival 2025!

Date: 24 May to 15 Jun 2025

From 24 May to 15 June 2025, Children’s Festival 2025 transforms Gardens by the Bay’s Supertree Grove into a tropical playground with interactive, Stitch-themed installations for kids aged 6 to 12.

Highlights include the thrilling 7m-tall ‘Ohana Wave’ slide, the immersive Forest of Belonging inflatable playscape, the space-themed swing car race, and sensory-rich kinetic sand play with Stitch’s Mischief Makers.

3. Step into a Venetian Summer at Lilytopia, Gardens by the Bay

Transport the family to Italy without leaving Singapore at Lilytopia, Gardens by the Bay’s latest floral display at the Flower Dome! From 22 May to 15 June 2025, be enchanted by over 10,000 lilies from 50+ varieties, filling the air with sweet fragrance and vibrant colour.

This year’s theme pays tribute to Venice, featuring a stunning floral rendition of its famous canals, alongside charming touches of Italian life – think Carnivale masks, Burano lace, nonna’s kitchen, and even St Mark’s Tower.

4. Discover Two New Family-Friendly Exhibitions at Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM)

Fee: Free for Singaporeans and PRs | $25 for Foreigners

Opening 23 May 2025, the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) launches two exciting new exhibitions for all ages.

Elegant Sounds: Music, Craft, and the Literati invites visitors to explore the ancient Chinese zither, the qin, and its rich heritage through interactive displays, rare artifacts, and music recordings. Located at Scholars Gallery, this multi-sensory experience blends art, history, and mindfulness.

For families, ACM & ME offers a vibrant play space in the Contemporary Gallery, featuring hands-on zones where kids can create self-portraits, invent mythical creatures, and enjoy sensory play designed with early learning experts.

5. Dive Into New Art Museum Singapore’s Newest Immersive Art Exhibition, Wonders of Nature

Step into Wonders of Nature at the New Art Museum Singapore—an immersive experience crafted for kids and the young at heart. Featuring local and international artists like Osamu Watanabe and Jackson Tan, this vibrant exhibition blends tactile sculptures, interactive installations, and colourful projections inspired by nature and animals.

Explore a candy-coloured Animal Kingdom with whimsical “fake cream” sculptures, bounce and play in the giant cactus-themed Canyon of Cuddles, and dive into the mesmerizing digital Ancient Aquarium filled with unique underwater creatures. Don’t miss the Obliteration Room, where visitors can create their own chalk masterpieces on the walls.
