Get ready to step into a miniature world of festive wonder! The much-loved Christmas Train Show is rolling back into Gardens by the Bay’s Flower Dome this year, promising an even grander and more magical experience for the whole family.

This second edition fuses the cherished yuletide tradition of an American holiday train show with fascinating, one-of-a-kind Singaporean elements. Prepare to be delighted by close to 20 detailed model trains traveling across a huge 145 meters of complex, winding tracks right in the heart of the floral display.

A Journey Across Continents

The scale of this show is breathtaking! The intricate railway journey will see trains chugging past iconic American landmarks, truly capturing the spirit of a classic holiday train display. Spot the miniature Statue of Liberty, the towering Grand Central Terminal, and the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge, all crafted in perfect scale.

Thanks to a new collaboration, the railway journey even extends to Europe! Working with the Royal Danish Embassy, a scene is dedicated to a Danish Christmas, complete with a beautiful wintry Nyhavn harbour and a classic red and black locomotive. 

LEGO Bricks Creations 

Visitors can admire the towering 4.5-metre tall LEGO Christmas Tree upon entering the Flower Dome, built with 104,768 LEGO bricks with a total build time of close to 500 hours. The LEGO Christmas Tree is decked out with custom-built LEGO ornaments inspired by local icons like the Merlion, the Supertrees, and our national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid.

The stunning LEGO Nyhavn Street is another breathtaking centrepiece. This 6.5-metre wide recreation of the historical Copenhagen landmark includes a charming canal element, miniature Danish G-scale trains featuring LEGO-built Christmas scenes—a perfect, playful nod to The LEGO Group’s Danish roots. This intricate and detailed build took close to 750 hours, with 119,629 LEGO bricks.  

There are also opportunities to snap the perfect holiday selfie at the LEGO Santa Corner, featuring a festive fireplace with 3D elements such as a decorative Christmas Tree Wall and an art piece that are made entirely of diverse LEGO elements. Beyond the display, visitors can also take part in special LEGO activities at South American Garden in Flower Dome, from Friday to Sunday throughout the duration of the display.

The fun doesn’t end there! There will also be additional activities and shopping promotions at the LEGO Retail Pop-up, situated in the Foyer next to Gardens by the Bay’s Main Ticketing Counter.

Spot Singapore’s Own SMRT Train and Icons

The local element of this exhibition is truly the star of the show, celebrating SG60 in the most charming way possible!

Look out for a specially commissioned G-scale SMRT train—the only one of its kind in Singapore! Built in consultation with SMRT, this detailed model will weave its way past handcrafted miniatures of local landmarks built by local carpentry studio Roger & Sons. Keep your eyes peeled for:

• The nostalgic Dragon Playground
• The iconic Supertrees

• Charming heritage shophouses

These scenes, built from recycled Singapore wood, offer a heartwarming moment of local pride amidst the international festivities.

Immerse Yourself in a Christmas Wonderland

Beyond the trains, the Flower Dome is completely transformed into an enchanting Christmas landscape. You'll find yourself surrounded by the unmistakable aroma and atmosphere of the season, thanks to nearly 7,000 plants!

The lush display features over 70 varieties of festive flora, including classic holly, beautiful mistletoe, and more than 18 varieties of bright poinsettias. Towering Christmas trees, some rising up to four metres tall, complete the look. As dusk falls, four massive 7.5-metre tall luminaries light up, casting a warm, magical glow over the entire miniature world.
