Here's a list of weekly family fun events and experiences for you to create family fun this week! 

Here's our weekly list of family fun to-dos to help you create lots of fun times with the kids! This week, we look at a number of newly opened indoor playgrounds, CNY-themed activities and more for families to create family fun!

1. Visit the Istana Open House

Venue: Istana
Date: 12 February 2024, 8.30am to 6.00pm.
Admission: Free for Singaporeans and PR

The Lunar New Year Istana Open House (IOH) will be held on 12 February 2024, 8.30am to 6.00pm. The IOH will be open to all visitors. 

Families who attend the open house can look forward to performances, activities and tours of the Istana’s main building and grounds, including Chinese calligraphy and candle making activities. The Istana Heritage Gallery, located in the Istana Park opposite the main gate of the Istana, will be open as well.

Entry to the Istana grounds is free for Singaporeans and permanent residents. All other visitors will need to pay an entrance fee of $20 per adult and $10 per child aged between four and 12.

2. Coloured Ice Playground Opens at Snow City

Venue: Snow City Singapore 
Dates: From 9 Feb 2024
Admission: Included in Snow Play Session

Get ready to be enchanted as¬†Snow City¬†Singapore¬†unveils the¬†Coloured Ice Playground¬†‚Äď Singapore's largest dyed ice¬†gallery! The¬†Coloured Ice Playground is crafted by renowned local artist Jeffrey Ng. It spans an¬†impressive 127 square meters and is made from 270 coloured and clear ice blocks,¬†creating an immersive experience of vivid hues against a backdrop of sparkling¬†snow.

The playground also offers a range of activities, including exhilarating ice slides, awe-inspiring ice sculptures including the Ice Bar - offering a refreshing experience amidst the country’s tropical weather.


3. SMIGY Indoor Playground Opening at Forum The Shopping Mall

Venue: Forum The Shopping Mall, Level B1
Opening Hours: TBC
Admission: From $23

SMIGY Indoor Playground opens a new outlet at Orchard Road, at Level B1 of Forum The Shopping Mall. This is the brand's 4th outlet with play passes valid for use across all outlets! 

Stepping into the playground, you will notice the giant ballpit with a ball shooter. Little ones can use the ball shooter to shoot the plastic balls on the interactive wall to play the interactive games. There will also be a slide, sandpit, various pretend play options and more! 

4. Whoose Party Playground at Grantral Mall

Venue: 601 MacPherson Road, Grantral Mall, #02-09, Singapore 368242
Opening Hours: 10.30 am - 8 pm (Mon - Thu), 10.30 am - 9 pm (Fri - Sun)
Admission: from $15 (get additional playtime with tickets here)

Whoose Party Indoor Playground is a new play venue conveniently located on the 2nd floor of Grantral Mall, near to Tai Seng MRT station. A children's wonderland, Whoose Party is filled with a variety of fun play options for little ones to enjoy themselves.

The highlight of the playground is the 6.25m LED mega slide promising an exhilarating experience! Little drivers will also enjoy the Crazy Go-Kart where you get to navigate a toy car through the racing tracks, while little builders will have fun with creative expressions in the sandpit! Those who enjoy action will be please to find a trampoline as well as a giant ball pit with a spray ball machine and ball projection games for more interactive fun! 

5. Museum of Ice Cream Exclusive Love Sundae and Sprinkle Bowl

Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) Singapore is the perfectly pink spot to celebrate your sweetest relationships this Valentine’s Day, with limited edition offerings and frosty promotions from 14th till 18th of February 2024!
