Here's our weekly list of family fun to-dos to help you create lots of fun times with the kids! This week, families can head down to the Universal Studios Singapore to take part in the family-friendly Halloween celebrations at Trick or Thrills, visit One Punggol for Mid-Autumn activities or drop by Marina Square to enjoy free children car rides! Also available are tickets to the highly anticipated Immersive Disney Animation!

1. Celebrate Halloween at the Family-friendly Trick or Thrills
Venue: Universal Studios Singapore

From 6 Sep to 5 Nov 2023, families who visit Universal Studios Singapore will be rewarded with spooktastic fun at the Universal Studios Singapore Trick or Thrills! Families can expect meet and greets with popular characters including Illumination’s Minion Monsters, Sesame Street friends, as well as the return of the Universal Monsters and Scorpion King, while a notorious crew of candy thieves will get guests grooving along to a new live dance and percussion show!
Trick or Thrills is included with regular admission to Universal Studios Singapore. Tickets retail at $98/Adult and $76/Child (or click here to compare ticket prices). Each ticket includes a Halloween set meal and S$5 Kuromi merchandise voucher.
Child tickets also include a pumpkin bucket (while stocks last) or a S$5 Universal Studios Singapore retail voucher.
2. The S.E.A Aquariums New Aquarist Lab and Tour
Venue: S.E.A Aquarium
Dates: From 5 Sep 2023
Admission: Tickets to S.E.A Aquarium applies, additional fees required for Aquarist Lab
The Aquarist Lab is a new experience at the S.E.A Aquarium that provides a unique window into the world of marine care. Visitors can explore marine nursery habitats and plankton culture setups, gaining an intimate perspective on how aquarists breed, nurture, and care for juvenile marine animals and microorganisms.
Families can choose to view the Aquarist Lab from the outside or to go on an in-depth experience, the 30-mins Behind-the-Scenes: Aquarist Lab tour that offers an exclusive look at the dedicated work of aquarists.
For an add on fee of $25 per person, families can step into the Aquarist Lab and learn about the process of plankton cultivation and the care of select animal species, including sea jellies. The tour also includes a visit to the Quarantine Room, where animals are acclimatized and receive specialized care before returning to their habitats.
3. Free Activities and Lantern Installation at One Punggol

Dates: Now till 29 Sep 2023, Light Up Ceremony on 15 Sep 2023
Admission: Free
Happening from now till 29 Sep 2023, One Punggol lights up with a Giant Lantern Display as well as family fun activities for families to enjoy this Mid-Autumn Festival 2023, including an official celebration on 29 Sep 2023!
And on 15 Sep 2023, 1,000 lanterns painted by Punggol residents will be curated together and transformed into a giant lantern art installation for the official Light-Up ceremony at 6pm. Come down for the celebrations and enjoy fun-filled interactive games and family-friendly activities such as inflatable bouncy castles and free snack giveaways.
4. Race to be the Junior Rev N Race Champion at Marina Square
Venue: Marina Square, Central Atrium

With an exhilarating race season on the horizon, Marina Square is gearing up to transform its central atrium into a racetrack that is bound to get the adrenalin pumping for a week, promising an exceptional and unforgettable racing escapade for families with young ones.
From 12 - 17 Sep 2023, little ones aged 4 to 9 years old can enjoy complimentary rides with a minimum spend at Marina Square. Simply present your shopping receipt at the Central Atrium to collect your Race Card and to participate in “Junior Rev N Race Champions 2023”!
Each ride completed will earn the child an achievement stamp on the Race Card, and the top 10 racers with the highest number of stamps collected will earn the prestigious title of Marina Square’s ‘Junior Rev N Race Champions 2023’ and win fantastic prizes.
5. Get Tickets To The Immersive Disney Animation

At the Immersive Disney Animation event, you and your family will be immersed in the world of Disney like never before. From timeless classics like The Lion King to modern gems like Frozen, Zootopia, and Big Hero 6, this event celebrates the Disney legacy from the 1980s to the present day. You will be entering iconic scenes from various films as they spring to life on colossal screens in a 360 degree experience.
