Wings of Art 2025 offers something memorable and meaningful for families to do at Marina Square where imagination, compassion, and creativity take flight! From 25 June to 1 July 2025, this vibrant event gives a wonderful opportunity for you and your loved ones to be part of Singapore’s Longest Barbie Runway and contribute to a good cause.

What’s the Event About

Wings of Art is a landmark SG60 celebration blending creativity, community, and compassion to raise $100,000 for underprivileged children through the Singapore Red Cross Young Hearts Programme. At the heart of Wings of Art is the Singapore’s Longest Barbie Doll Runway, showcasing 1,060 winged Barbie dolls—each hand-crafted by artists, children, and members of the public to symbolise transformation and hope.

The public is also invited to adopt one of 1,000 limited-edition, numbered dolls. Each doll serves as a canvas for imagination, adorned with wings and vibrant designs that reflect individual hopes and dreams. These customised creations can either be kept as a personal memento or donated to the runway installation. Donated Barbies will be gifted to underprivileged children as symbols of encouragement and inspiration.

Be Part of Singapore’s Longest Barbie Runway

Marvel at the stunning 60-metre-long Barbie Doll Runway, featuring 1,060 Winged Barbies, each representing a dream and a spirit of hope. As you stroll along the runway, you’ll spot 60 unique Barbies designed by local artistes — perfect conversation starters about creativity and giving back.

Among the featured creators are Jayley Woo, Willabelle Ong, Janice Wong, Frederick Lee, and a 9-year-old artist with Autism Spectrum Disorder, whose moving work expresses resilience and hope. Each Barbie carries its maker’s distinctive voice and vision, reinforcing the message that art knows no limits, through unexpected mediums, from delicate acrylic sculptures to avant-garde upcycled designs. Even edible artistry makes an appearance in this dazzling collection.

And that’s not all! You can also design your very own Winged Barbie too! Join the Winged Barbie Crafting Stations and let your imaginations soar with wings, colours, and art materials. You can choose to bring your Barbie home or donate it back to support underprivileged children through the Singapore Red Cross Young Hearts Programme.

Those interested in contributing to the cause by donating their crafted Barbie are encouraged to pre-register. Limited slots are available, and registration is now open at https://peace-of-art.sg.

Wings for a Cause: Charity Auction Now Live

In the spirit of giving back, all 60 artist-designed Barbies featured at Wings of Art are available for public bidding through a special online charity auction. Each doll is a one-of-a-kind collectible, crafted with heart and vision by some of Singapore’s most creative minds.

All proceeds will go to charity, supporting initiatives that empower and uplift underprivileged children and youth through art and community engagement. This is a rare opportunity to own a unique piece of art while making a meaningful impact.
