What is happening?

Shilin Night Market, one of Taiwan’s hugely popular night market will be making an appearance on our home grounds!

Expect a bonanza of Taiwanese street munchies like fried chicken cutlet, grilled beef cubes, sweet potato fries, and deep fried milk alongside local delights.

What’s a famous Taiwanese night market without bubble tea offerings? You’ll find more than one booth offering this sweet treat, such as Milksha, Playmade by Onezo and Gongcha. Speaking of Gongcha, we hear there’s going to be Gongcha’s DIY Lab where you can heap your own toppings and fill your cups with your favourite milk tea! We know where we’re going first.

There is also going to be a line-up of stores offering a variety of artisanal goods, from fashion to lifestyle. 

You can try your hand at the various game booths, the human claw machine is going to be our next destination after we’ve slurped through our cup of bubble tea.

A peek into the future maybe?

Pop up stores, game booths and sizzling food aside, brightly lit lanterns, rainbow-coloured windmills and the Streets of Taiwan art mural walls liven up the atmosphere.

After a day of indulging in mouth-watering nosh, shopping and having fun, you can plop down and wrap your night up with a movie screening, held at 6 pm every day.

Getting to Shilin Night Market

If you are heading down to Shilin Night Market with your little ones and don’t have a car, you might want to consider getting on Klook’s shuttle bus service, after all, the event ground is not that easily accessible via public transport.

For an even more hassle-free experience at the night market, you can also check out Klook’s early bird offerings—Carnival and Game Tokens, Chia Te Bakery Pastries, Hot Star Large Fried Chicken, etc. Life is so much easier and your crunchy popcorn chicken so much more yummier when you don’t have to queue for a long long time.
