Looking for new places to visit or things to do with the family? Here's a list of new things in Feb 2022 that you can do with your kids in Singapore! 

From a LIVE Disney Concert to the reopening of water play venues, here's a look at new and exciting things that families can do together in Feb 2022 to create more family memories and fun! 

1. Get Your Hands Dirty At New Korean Pottery Studio, Am I Addicted

Opening hours: 10 am–9 pm daily (Studio), 11 am - 9 pm daily (Café)

Newly opened at Capitol Singapore, Am I Addicted is a Korean-styled pottery studio with an adjacent Korean vegetarian café. With a semi-open concept, the studio conducts classes for kids as well as for adults. Kids can attend the Kids Wheel Throwing Class where the table top wheels are smaller, less powerful and safer for children to use.

2. Catch Your Favourite Disney Music Performed LIVE at Disney In Concert - Magical Music From The Movies

The Disney in Concert - Magical Music From The Movies show will feature four leading vocalists direct from United States singing Disney songs and musicals to projected video clips from iconic Disney films. The performance will be backed by a 40 piece Orchestra by Sensable Music.

The show is part of the Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures + Test protocol which allows for the easing of on-stage safe management measures. The Disney show is the first approved event since the VDS+Test protocol was extended in December to six designated arts venues, including the Esplanade Theatre.

Note that there is no entry for children below 2 years old.

3. Be Mesmerised by the Performances at the #OurChingay50 Show

Dates: 12 Feb 2022, 8 pm - 9.30 pm
Admission: Free

#OurChingay50 is a full digital LIVE show held at the HSBC Rain Vortex, Jewel Changi. Celebrating 50 years of Chingay, the one and a half-hour showcase will feature a line-up of performers, including community talents performing to the backdrop of the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, together with the lush greenery of the Shiseido Forest Valley.

Families can catch the performance online on Chingay's FacebookTikTok, and website. The online viewing experience will combined special effects and interactive floor projections with an exceptional performance of colours and energy, sure to delight and excite viewers! 

4. Cycle Through The Newly Opened Changi Bay Park Connector

Lighting Hours: 7 pm - 7 am Daily

The newly opened Changi Bay Park Connector forms part of the eastern corridor of the Round-Island-Route. The 3.6km route connects Changi Beach Park to the East Coastal Park Connector Network, offering a scenic coastal route for cyclists and hikers who travel from East Coast Park to Changi Beach Park.

Grab your family photo at the water's edge on the boardwalk and pavilion at Changi Bay Point. These are great spots to rest while appreciating the scenic and tranquil setting of the coast.

5. Play At The Reopened Clusia Cove At Jurong Lake Garden

Location: Northern end of Lakeside Garden at Jurong Lake Gardens, 100 Yuan Ching Road, Singapore 618662
Opening Days: Tue to Sun (closed on Mon, except Public Holidays), 8 am – 7 pm
Admission: Free

Clusia Cove, the water playground at Jurong Lake Gardens has reopened earlier this year, and families looking for a free water play venue may wish to visit soon! Located near to the North Carpark, families can play at Clusia Cove’s tidal pool that was uniquely designed to mimic water movements of coastal shores. Together with Forest Ramble, families can spend an entire day at the playgrounds at Jurong Lake Gardens!

Don't worry about getting wet too as there is a toilets with bath areas located here too! Just remember to bring along a towel and change of clothes! 

6. Splash Around At The Water Play At Coastal Playgrove

Location: East Coast Park, Area B, Carpark B2 (near to the Road Safety Park)
Date: Tue - Sun (Closed Mon), 8 am to 8 pm
Admission: Free

Another water play area that has recently reopened is the one at Coastal Playgrove, East Coast Park! The water play area features a wading pool and jets of water with illumination at night in various colours. While it is smaller compared to Clusia Cove at Jurong Lake Park, we are sure the kids would still have lots of fun splashing around!

7. Dig For Dinosaurs & Make Your Own Handbag At SMIGY PLQ Mall

8. Ride An Off-Road At Mud Krank - Parents Can Do It Now Too!

While Mud Krank is not a new venue, the off-road ATV experience has recently expanded to include parents earlier this year. Parents and those above 13 years old can now ride on the larger advance ATVs while the young ones can ride on the junior ATVs. 

Do note that the session for advance and junior ATVs are currently not at the same time. Thus you will not be able to ride with your child. 

9. Go On A Go-Kart With Your Child On The Kiddy Circuit @ KF1 Singapore Expo

Besides offering Singapore's largest outdoor go-kart track, local karting circuit company, KF1 has also started the KF1 Kiddy Circuit for kids to get the racing experience at Singapore Expo. 

The KidRacers electric karts is suitable for pillion riding. This allows for younger kids to ride with their parents and to experience the fun too. Just note that it is still not suitable for kids below 85 cm while those between 85 cm to 120 cm need to ride with another ride at least 120cm. 

10. Try Your Hands On RC Model Car Racing
