Jurong Point is slated to host its first-ever Matsuri from 12 September to 23 October 2022! 

Indulge your senses from sight to sound and taste as Jurong Point whisks you away to the Land of the Rising Sun with a line-up of family-friendly activities. It will be as if you are setting foot right in the heart of Japan!

Here's taking a closer look at some of the key highlights that you and your family can look forward to at the event:

Giant Claw Machine

Put your skills to the test at the Giant Claw Machine, which is bound to evoke loads of fun. Up for grabs is a plethora of adorable plushies. 

Simply spend $50 in a maximum of 2 same-day receipts and receive tokens for game chance to play!

Mouth-Watering Japanese Street Food

As part of the Japan Matsuri Fair, the atrium of Jurong Point will be dotted with yatai, and the air will be perfumed with the aromas of the sizzling foods.

In Japan, yatai is a small, mobile food stall that doles out traditional Japanese street food. Eat your way through Japan with the best street foods the country has to offer, including takoyaki, okonomiyaki, super kawaii trendy concepts like Sourbombe Bakery, Hitokuchi Onigiri, Kane-Mochi and more.

What’s more, FairPrice Xtra will be showcasing a medley of Japanese imports and products, from fresh fruits to vegetables, seasoning and condiments, dairy items, as well as household groceries.

Other not-to-be-missed activities include a Sakura Concert, Cosplay Showcase Collection and appearances by Xixi Lim.

Explore Shikoku's Four Prefectures & Win a Gift

In collaboration with the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Jurong Point is hosting a JNTO Digital Stamp Rally. 

Through this rally, get to learn more about the Shikoku region and its prefectures. The region may be the smallest amongst Japan’s islands, but it is home to numerous stunning sceneries and heritage gems.

Throughout the shopping mall are posters with information on KagawaTokushima, Kochi and EhimeFind them and scan the QR codes on each of the four posters to receive a stamp.
