Led by the Singapore Tourism Board in collaboration with public and private sector partners, the first-ever edition of the Singapore Wellness Festival will feature more than 120 holistic wellness experiences island-wide, including a range of fitness, emotional and mental wellbeing, and lifestyle focused programmes to rejuvenate your body and mind.

AITIA Well-being Quest

You and your family and friends are invited to form groups of 4 to 5 and embark on AITIA Institute’s Well-Being Quest – a scavenger hunt designed to soothe and calm frazzled nerves. Expect to fully engage your senses as we mindfully walk, slow down to the natural rhythms of Mother Nature in lush natural surroundings and practice the zen of slow eating for lunch. Mindful Facilitators will be on hand to assist in deep dives as we uncover and seek to understand ‘Well-Being” more holistically. If you would like to spend time meaningfully and purposefully with your tribe, this would be the ideal opportunity to be inspired in your everyday inquiring journey.

This participation in our Well-Being Quest is a more profound invitation to how you can positively impact your own life and tune in with our curated conscious activity. 

Catch a Break, Kayak Fishing

Experience the most thrilling way to catch a fish in Singapore with Kayak Fishing Fever. Rocket through the water on leg-powered fishing kayak to the best fishing spots in Singapore. You can learn everything you need to know about kayak fishing techniques on the gentle waves of East Coast Beach or Sentosa, home of Singapore’s richest reefs. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned fisherman, we’ll have a trip that’s perfect for you! This trip is suitable for groups as small as 1 person or as big as 12 person. So bring your family and friends and have a whale of time on the water.

On these trips, you’ll battle a variety of tropical fishes like Snappers and Groupers, while surrounded by a picturesque landscape of Singapore. As we paddle around the waters in Singapore, you'll learn about the islands, our wildlife, our marine life, Singapore maritime and also about Singapore city. At the end of the trip, our guides will cook and prepare some of the fishes caught during the trip for you to get an actual taste of Singapore.

Finally, we will provide you with everything you need, such as Penn and Rapala tackles, high-quality vests, VHF Radios and all the instructions you can handle! All you have to bring is your hat and sunscreen.

Educational Goat Farm Tour

The goat farm tour will be specially curated for the WFS audience to incorporate educational content related to sustainability, health and nutrition. The farm will share about its sustainability initiatives and the nutritional benefits of goat milk and products.

Escapade to Lazarus

Step onboard the one and only Repurposed Vintage Chinese Junk and head towards Lazarus Island to relieve some stress from Daily Living. Be Grounded with Nature on many levels - find your equilibrium with the Waves in the Seas and find your footing with the Sand on the Beach. We will board at Keppel Marina and sail towards the Southern Islands.

Along the journey, be entertained by the Tales of the Seas, starting from our Spice Trade history to the lesser-known Folktales surrounding the Islands, and This would be an escapade from the City on the Seas. Upon reaching the Islands, be comfortable with the diversity around you and slowly ease into the zone of natural wellness on the island. Execute some Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques where our Guide will walk you through some sources of stress and coping mechanisms.

On the way back to Singapore, be reminded of Gratitude and Positive Psychology as we discuss the science of Happiness at a very basic and brief level. After this short escapade, you should feel rejuvenated and therefore feel the increase in subjective well-being of your life. You have just experienced an outdoor wellness program instead of the indoor clustered dark spa room.

Half Day Sentosa Hike & Lunch

We will kickstart this private group activity with an exclusive hike up Mount Serapong on the Serapong Trail, where the participants will experience an immersive nature and heritage walk for approximately 2 hours. The walk can be as energetic or relaxing as the group prefers. This hike, being organised in a restricted area, will allow for the group of friends of family to take time out together in nature. Since the pace is unhurried, the participants will get the opportunity to learn more about their surroundings and notice the flora and fauna which our busy lives don't allow us to on a day to day basis, creating a mindful connection with the forest. After the walk, the participants will enjoy a healthy 3-course menu at The Cliff at the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.

Merli Wellness Trails

Join Merli and Friends on a walk for a mid-year reset as they guide you through a mindful journey on how to rejuvenate yourself!

Begin your journey at any of the three of Singapore's many beautiful nature parks that will make you feel refreshed at the end of the trail. Activate the event app and walk around the park to search for the checkpoints. Collect as many heart points as possible in 60 or 120 minutes. Look out for special boxes for a pleasant surprise! Answer the questions set by Merli and Friends, and you might unlock some special characters for this event!

Each entry is entitled to 10 attempts for you to collect as many heart points as possible. You can replay the trail to break your high score or try the other trails at the remaining two parks!

Kampung Fun - Family Adventure

Kampung Fun - Family Adventure is an outdoor tour and farming experience for the family. The Equine Wellness Programme offered by Singapore Turf Club Riding Centre is specially curated by the Centre’s expert partner to improve participant wellbeing through equine interaction. Equine therapy is documented to be a powerful way to reconnect with your thoughts and feelings. The session will leave you with positive feelings sparked by the special connection with equine and with nature.

Social benefits of the programme include helping participants to gain self-awareness, thereby building trust and confidence and enhancing problem-solving skills. The physical requirements of interaction with horses improve cognitive functions, tone muscles, enhance flexibility and build motor skills. Celebrate the return of calm and peace being away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by lush greenery while connecting with majestic yet gentle horses. There is no better way to relieve stress.

Participants will learn all about horses at the start of the three-hour programme. Establish rapport with your horse and gain confidence as you learn horse grooming / leading techniques that will lead to your ability to independently guide a horse. Grow your self-awareness when you saddle up and ride your horse. Feel the wind in your hair and a sense of achievement when you are able to ride your horse to complete a simple obstacle course.

Zentosa Fest
, a play on Sentosa’s name, will transform Singapore’s iconic leisure destination into a wellness island retreat, leveraging Sentosa’s scenic environment and island charm to help guests escape, rejuvenate, and recharge, away from the stresses of urban living and grind.

One of ArtScience Museum's latest exhibitions, Hope from Chaos: Pandemic Reflections, begins with a free introduction titled Outbreak: Epidemics in a Connected World by the renowned Smithsonian Institution, highlighting the concept of “One Health” and recognising the connectedness of human, animal and environmental health. This is followed by a deeply evocative, meditative and personal encounter with the stories and practices of artists who offer us insights into their lives and work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Break while serve Wellness Juice & Canapes
  • Candle Making
  • Bonding through touch
    • 15 min Hand massage session
    • Parent to learn how to massage their child & vice versa
  • End with 5 mins meditation/ mindfulness (this is a grounding exercise - can also help both parent & child with any stresses or anxiety in daily life or learning to take some time out to relax, think and reflect) 

There are two challenges for the parent & child to work together on and to learn the roles of communication:

  • Baking/Cooking - The child will take charge and the parents will take direction from the child. There will be cue cards and a take-home of the activity to do at home again.
  • Candle making - the parent will take the change and the child will take direction from the parent.
