Keum Eun Don - Seoulâs Famous K-BBQ Opens in Singapore

Keum Eun Don, a legendary name from Seoulâs Yongsan district (right next to HYBE Entertainment), has landed at HillV2 for its first-ever overseas outpost.Â
At Keum Eun Don, the name itself is a play on wordsâwhile "Keum Eun Don" translates to Gold, Silver, and Bronze, the word "Don" also means pork in Korean. Itâs a signal that pork is treated with the highest reverence here.
The star of the show is their Iberico pork, which undergoes a rigorous two-stage ageing process: wet ageing followed by dry ageing. This results in a deeper flavour and a much more tender texture, making it easier for younger children to chew. For fans of beef, their Japan A5 Sirloin and the Woodae Galbi (prime beef short rib) offer a melt-in-the-mouth experience that lives up to the restaurant's premium reputation.
The menu features several standout cooked options, including the Bassak Bulgogi, Kimchi Fried Rice and House-made Banchan. The lunch menu is also a priced competitively with Pork BBQ Sets starting from $35+ per person and Beef Short Rib Sets from $75+ for two!
Rare Master-Butcher Cuts at the New Gamtan Singapore

Founded by a master butcher and chef duo with over 15 years of experience, Gamtan Singapore brings a sophisticated touch to the K-BBQ scene, focusing on rare cuts and precise techniques that make for a truly memorable family meal.
What sets Gamtan apart is the expertise behind the meat preparation. It is also the only restaurant in Singapore to offer the King Galbi where the USDA-Prime beef rib is hand-butchered and butterflied using a unique technique to maximise tendernes. For pork lovers, the Axe Belly is a must-try. Sourced from Duroc pigs, this thick-cut pork belly includes the rib bone, ensuring the meat remains succulent and juicy throughout the grilling process.
While the BBQ is the star, Gamtan offers a versatile menu that caters to different appetites, including those who might want a lighter or "no-fuss" meal with the children.
With a 4.9-star Google rating and popularity, you are highly recommended to make a booking before visiting.Â
Hikiniku To Come - Signature Hamburg Steak Experience Opens in Singapore

Acclaimed Japanese dining concept Hikiniku To Come makes its Singapore debut at VivoCity. Originating from Tokyoâs Kichijyoji district, the brand has garnered a cult following for its signature hamburg âsteak-on-riceâ experience, and its uncompromising focus on simplicity, freshness, and precision.Â
Hikiniku To Come offers a single signature set meal ($27.90++) that consists of three hamburg steaks â all made from 100% Japanese beef â each delivered one at a time, eaten in different ways, and timed to their own pace.
Diners are encouraged to savour each patty differently, beginning with tasting the first as is to savour the burst of flavours and savour the aroma of the charcoal. During the time, the meat sits atop the rice, allowing it to soak in its flavours to make it even tastier. In the second portion, they are recommended to add grated radish as well as a drizzle of homemade ponzu vinegar for a wonderfully refreshing contrast. For the third and final portion, diners may dip their patty into a beaten egg yolk, or enrich the rice with a mixture of egg and soy sauce, transforming it into a luxurious tamago kake gohan layered with the savoury depth of the meat juices.
During its opening phase, the Singapore outlet will adopt a walk-in only model for same-day dine-in, with guests seated on a first come, first served basis. To support the experience, a digital queue system will be available once the restaurant reaches full capacity, allowing guests to be notified when their seats are ready.
Lotteria to Open 2nd Outlet at Jurong Point

Since it's opening at Jewel, South Koreaâs leading burger chain Lotteria has been attracting diners from all over Singapore to the east. From July, fans of the popular chain will have another option with the second Singapore outlet opening at Jurong Point!Â
The Jurong Point outlet will serve Lotteriaâs best-known menu items, including the Ria's Bulgogi Burger, one of Lotteriaâs signature creations, featuring a juicy beef patty glazed in the brandâs sweet-savoury bulgogi sauce â a flavour profile that helped popularise Korean-style burgers across Asia, and the Ria's Shrimp Burger, a long-time fan favourite made with a crisp shrimp patty containing real shrimp chunks, paired with tartar and Thousand Island sauces for a lighter yet satisfying bite distinct from typical QSR offerings.
As with the Jewel Changi Airport outlet, the Singapore menu remains pork- and lard-free to cater to a broader range of diners.
Stay tune to https://www.instagram.com/lotteriasg/ for the opening date in July!Â
New Cocktail Bar - Hi Stranger at Neil Road

Hi Stranger is more than a cocktail destination, founders Bastien Renard and Roomi Luo imagined it as a playground for the curious: a place where spirits, conversation, and sensory experiences intersect in unexpected ways.
The 26-seater space hums in amber light. Lava-like visuals flicker against stainless steel surfaces; molten reflections ripple across the bar. Above it all hangs Hi Strangerâs centrepiece â a suspended stainless steel installation that catches and mirrors the roomâs shifting tones, amplifying its warm, immersive glow.
Signatures include the The Funky Daiquiri ($26), where Jamaican rum meets lime and chilli in a drink that feels bright yet untamed, alongside the The Smoky Sour ($24), layering Scotch and Islay whiskies with citrus and bitters for something textured, savoury, and quietly smouldering.
Designed to complement the drinks, the menu centres around elevated comfort food intended for sharing, conversation, and lingering a little longer than planned. The kitchen is led by Head Chef Edwin Tay, whose background includes Rhubarb and Michelin-starred Nouri. Dishes range from smaller bites such as Pão de Queijo and Tuna Tartare, to larger bites including Black Wagyu Skirt and Spanish Octopus.

The Coach Restaurant Launches Sunday Prime Rib

The Coach Restaurant at Jewel Changi Airport is introducing a new weekly tradition: Sunday Prime Rib, launching on the first Sunday of June. Â
At the heart of the offering is the prime rib itself, sourced in partnership with premium local meat purveyor Butcher Box Singapore and dry-aged in-house for 20 to 25 days at The Coach Restaurant. Throughout the ageing process, excess fat trimmed from the corn-fed beef is rendered and infused with smoked corn husks and Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, before being brushed back over the prime rib â a detail that speaks to the kitchen's commitment to provenance, technique, and craft. Â
Priced at SGD $68++ per person, the Sunday Prime Rib is served with a choice of two sides: creamed spinach, smoked butter mashed potatoes, grilled kale and arugula salad, roasted root vegetables, or a baked russet potato cooked in beef fat and topped with GruyĂšre and cheddar.Â
For an elevated finish, guests may add a caviar supplement at SGD $28++.Â
BAR KAP Opens at The House of Tan Yeok Nee

A new chapter begins at The House of Tan Yeok Nee, the last of Singaporeâs famed Four Grand Mansions, with the opening of BAR KAP, an intimate cocktail bar. Unfolding as a sequence of chambers, BAR KAP is a living archive where heritage informs modern craft, and every drink is a nod to the buildingâs storied eras.
Conceptualised in partnership with Studio Ryecroft, the menu explores the House of Tan Yeok Nee's different eras, from its earliest residence to its current form.
A house to be entered and quietly observed, BAR KAP invites guests into a space where the city falls away. In the main hall, the original timber beams and intricate carvings overhead are accentuated by the considered placement of mirrors and reflective surfaces throughout the space. A Y-shaped console anchors the bar, designed for conversation and offering a closer view of the craft, while a central frost rail keeps drinks perfectly chilled. Original interiors are further complemented by upholstered chairs with handwoven textiles reinterpreting Teochew motifs. Flanking the hall, elevated booths echo the intimacy of traditional Chinese teahouses, designed for groups.Â
