1. Sen-Ryo Opens Second Outlet at Suntec City

Following the resounding success of its inaugural opening at ION Orchard in April 2021, sen-ryo now brings more joy by introducing its premium yet affordable dining experience with the opening of a second outlet in Suntec City.

At sen-ryo Suntec City, families can discover brand-new outlet-exclusive platters, draft sake – an uncommon sight – as well as affordable set lunches from $15.80, are offered in a casual chic ambience that boasts light wood elements. Tuna remains a star offering on the menu, along with other premium ingredients sourced from Japan and around the globe.

Families looking for an interesting experience, come 2024, sen-ryo at Suntec City will be introducing the captivating 'Kaitai' (かいたい, tuna cutting ceremony) on a quarterly basis too!

2. Sunday Folks Wagashi Experience

Homegrown dessert brand Sunday Folks is launching its take on handcrafted wagashi — or traditional Japanese confectionery — in its commitment to celebrate the art of dessert-making.

The wagashi is available in beverage pairing set menus ($18++ with tea; $24++ with an alcoholic drink Alcoholic pairing is only available at ION Orchard). The experience comes in two courses inclusive of a yuzu sorbet served in a monaka and guests get to choose from two wagashi variations:

Autumn Red Grape Yokan

The yokan is crafted to resemble autumn leaves suspended under a pond’s surface.

Sudachi Tsukimi Dango

Each dango is enrobed with shiro-an (white bean paste) to resemble a full moon, speckled with sudachi and topped with sliced green muscat grapes.

The Sunday Folks Wagashi Experience is available at Sunday Folks’ ION Orchard and Holland Village outlet from 15 November 2023 until the end of the year and is limited to just 30 sets per day. Pre-bookings are required to ensure availability.

3. Ju Xing Home Opens at Takashimaya

Taste of one of Hong Kong’s favourite restaurants arrives in Singapore with the opening of Ju Xing Home, the iconic go-to spot of many renowned Hong Kong chefs and celebrities, which proudly opens its doors in Takashimaya on 1 December 2023.

For the uninitiated, the hole-in-the-wall with a Michelin Bib Gourmand is always filled to the brim courtesy of chef-owner Ng Kong Kiu’s unpretentious zi char classics. Cantonese stir-fries and fiery Sichuan flavours set the pace of the game, served with lashings of wok hei and fresh live seafood each time, even late into the night.

At this Singapore outpost, drop by and discover for yourself why Ju Xing Home is a perennial favourite with Michelin-starred chefs, for example Tim Ho Wan's Mak Kwai Pui, Lung King Heen's Chan Yan Tak, Mott32’s Lee Man Sing and many others. 4. New Fireside at Quayside Isle @ Sentosa Cove

The new Fireside (#01-15) restaurant consists of two distinctive levels that house the Alfresco Courtyard and The Bar, offering an ambiance that seamlessly transitions from day to night, and offers a menu that strikes a harmonious balance between simplicity and refinement, reimagining classic dishes with the element of fire.

From 25 November onwards, Fireside offers a special Thanksgiving Family Set Menu ($258++, suitable for 4-5 pax), which features family-style favourites such as steamed mussels and wood-fired midwings. On the evenings of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Fireside also offers a special Christmas menu ($98++ per person) that features delicious oysters drizzled with classic mignonette sauce as well as hearty main dishes such as roasted whole chicken.

5. New Dip ‘N Share Bucket from KFC Singapore

KFC Singapore is adding to the festive cheer with its new Dip ‘N Share Bucket along with a limited-edition ‘You Dip, You Share’ KFC Game Card from 29 Nov 2023 to 1 Jan 2024.

Promising a scrumptious and entertaining feast, KFC fans can look forward to their favourite KFC meal with their loved ones. Perfect for sharing during festive gatherings, the Dip ‘N Share Bucket consists of the all-new KFC Shots, the all-time favourite Hot & Crispy Tenders, and the popular Cajun Wedges. 9. Canchita Peruvian Cuisine Launches a limited-time Las Posadas themed Christmas Menu

This holiday season, Canchita Peruvian Cuisine invites all to a Christmas celebration that’s out of the ordinary with limited-time-only Las Posadas-themed Christmas menu. Originating from Latin America, Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras, Las Posadas is a colourful celebration spanning nine days from 16 – 24 December where one looks forward to extensive celebratory feasts.

Begin with a luxurious Cocktail Rosado of a robust shellfish cocktail of lobster meat and prawns marinated in creamy tomato puree. For a festive taste the Beef Monfongo de Puerto Rico serves up fried plantain stuffed with Picanha rump beef, laced with garlic. The star dish is the Lechon Asado ‘A la Cubana’, a whole suckling pig roasted Cuban-style for juicy fall-of-the-bone meaty goodness.

10. Kelly’s Party Combos of European Delicatessen and Roast

Kelly’s wants to bring the most wonderful party combos of European roasts and delicatessen to add to your festivities.

Gather family and friends around the table and dig into specialty items made for the season, like the all-new Kelly’sEuropean Sausage Duo. It comprises of Iberico pork sausages, fragrant and meaty with every bite of prime Iberico pork as well as the England Cumberland Sausage, lashings of English pork sausage served in long, curved lengths that grill to smoky char.

The Set Dinner Menus has two seatings available - first seating from 6pm to 8pm; and second seating from 8.30pm onwards, with a minimum of 2 persons to dine for both menus.

12. Celebrate the Festive Season at LeVeL33

14. Embrace The Spirit Of Gifting With AMI Patisserie’s Christmas Panettones

As the festive season approaches, AMI Patisserie shares the joy of Christmas with Chef Makoto Arami’s take on the classic panettone, enriched with Japanese ingredients. Available only from 1 to 31 December 2023, these Christmas delights from AMI Patisserie will be available for take-away or deliveries.

Original AMI Panettone ($72nett/600g) - Brimming with divine flavours, the Original Panettone undergoes intricate preparations as dried raisins, orange and lemon are steeped in Grand Marnier and Cointreau for weeks before baking.

Espresso Chocolate Panettone ($76nett/600g) - An interpretation of Chef Makoto’s favourite classic cocktail, the “Espresso Martini”, the panettone features Ethiopian single origin beans that bring forth notes of dark chocolate and caramel, as well as Kahlua-soaked dried fruits, Haku vodka, and Valrhona 40% milk chocolate.

15. Joyful Warmth of Christmas Collection from Toastbox

21. A Tropical Christmas Delight at Rumours Beach Club with Rumours Festive Meat Platter!

Celebrate a hot, spicy and out of the ordinary Balinese Christmas with the limited edition Rumours Festive Meat Platter ($128.80++). Available for a limited time only from 2 December 2023 to 1 January 2024, it invites family and friends of all group sizes to celebrate a tropical Christmas with Balinese flavours galore. Place your orders and dig in only on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

The star of the platter is the Makassar “Konro” Beef Short Ribs, of 120 days Australian grain-fed beef short ribs is marinated in a housemade ‘konro’ paste made from the prized buah keluak, slow-cooked for 13 hours to tender perfection. Grilled 14 Hours Slow-Cooked Canadian Pork Ribs brings juicy, tender pork laced with housemade sambal merah, Spicy Balinese “Betutu” Grilled Chicken and Nurnberger Pork Sausages.
