The indulgence continues with the Braised Beef Ragout with Gnocchi ($29++), where tender beef cheek and tail are simmered in rich jus and served with pillowy gnocchi, aged Parmesan, and sourdough toast. Rounding out the line-up, the Classic Beef Bourguignon ($34++) features succulent beef cheek slow-cooked in red wine with mushrooms and pearl onions, finished with fresh sourdough on the side.

Nonyanita Café Opens at Chef X

Heritage Peranakan flavours meet modern café culture with the launch of Nonyanita Café at Chef X, the latest residency to helm the space from 23 March to 17 May 2026.

At Nonyanita Café, time-tested Peranakan dishes take on fresh, approachable forms rarely seen at traditional settings, such as grain bowls, sandwiches, soups, and salads. Driven by a desire to make Peranakan food more accessible, Chef Jean showcases and reinterprets dishes typically reserved as celebratory or communal favourites into wholesome, distinctive creations designed for today’s fast-paced dining rhythms. Think the likes of Chicken Rendang Sandwiches, Assam Fish Grain Bowls, and Papaya & Prawns Titek Soup – nostalgic Peranakan flavours expressed through familiar café staples.
