This Parent’s Day, express your gratitude for your parents with a lip-smacking feast, courtesy of Dian Xiao Er! The Chinese restaurant is unveiling a special set menu as well as ready-to-eat dishes for you so you can easily surprise your parents with a delicious meal.

A Special Parent's Day Set Menu

First in the line-up of new dishes is the Sauteed Scallops and Celtuce with Black Truffle. The rich and plump scallops are enlivened by the piquant note of the black truffle sauce. The celtuce adds a delightful crunch to the dish.

Next, up the indulgence with the Crispy Pork Slices with Assorted Mushrooms. Seasoned with a special sauce, the pork slices are deep-fried to golden-brown perfection. Each bite is highly addictive! The meat is tossed with lovely morsels of shimeji, which contribute an earthy flavour. Relish the playful contrast of the crunch of the pork and the chewiness of the mushrooms! Sliced chilli adds a subtle kick in the background. The overall dish is then sprinkled with sesame seeds for a nutty finish.

Relish a unique burst of island flavours with the Tropical Coconut Deshelled Prawns. The succulent prawns are tinged with the sweetness of coconut and tang of lime.

Finally, there is the nutritious and tasty Steamed Ling Fish and Baby Chinese Cabbage in Sweet Milky Broth. The firm and fresh fish is immersed in a delicate milky and sweet broth. Following the head chef’s secret recipe, the broth is made from beancurd and is the result of many hours of preparation.

Other dishes in the set menu will include their Signature Herbal Roast Duck (Angelica/ Ten Wonders / Wild Ginseng), their popular dishes: Signature Wheatgrass Tofu with Seafood, Baby Kai Lan with Salted Fish & Lime, and Fish Maw Thick Soup with Seafood.

Available from 24 April to 18 June, the set menu is priced from $99 onwards.

Ready-to-eat Bundles

Dian Xiao Er will be launching two ready-to-eat dishes: Braised Pork Belly with Spicy Sour Mustard Greens and Ginseng Kampong Chicken. With a perfect fat-meat ratio, the pork belly boasts a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The nourishing kampong chicken is equally tender, and each sip of the soup is incredibly tasty thanks to the use of premium herbs.
