A Playground Designed for Every Child
This isn't just any playground; it's a thoughtfully designed space that caters to a wide range of ages and energy levels, boasting both a dry and a wet play area. It also offers different play structures for different age groups where toddlers as well as primary school kids can play at.
Let's take a look at what you can expect at the Toa Payoh Central Playground
A Climbing Adventure (Dry Zone)

The dry play zone is a true delight for little adventurers. Its centrepiece is a magnificent rope and climbing structure that encourages children to navigate from one end to the other. On one side, a rope course awaits those who love to test their agility and balance. For the younger ones, the other side features a gradually sloping climbing wall-like obstacle, ensuring that even toddlers can enjoy the thrill of ascent.

The structure is shaped like a wave with ropes for kids to climb up and down. In the middle of the structure, another rope obstacle acts as a ladder, offering another fun way to climb up and down.

Beyond this main structure, there's a dedicated area for the even younger tots, complete with three delightful slides (the red single slide and blue twin slides), easy-to-climb ropes, and a small tunnel for crawling through.
The surrounding area is dotted with classic playground favourites that are sure to spark joy:

- A classic spring ride for bouncing fun. This one even allows baby to sit in while parents bounce the ride, facing them!

- Traditional swings for soaring through the air. It includes 2 normal single wings and a larger basket swing for group swinging.

- A lively mini merry-go-round for group play.

- A unique speed racer where kids can race on the stationary bikes and using the digital screen to see their progress.

- An exciting interactive pole where children can turn a knob rapidly, watching a light ascend, competing to see who can reach the top first!
Splash into Fun: The Wet Play Zone

The wet play area is on hand to provide simple yet exhilarating water fun for young ones. While not overly elaborate, just the sprinklers and fountains is sure to guarantee plenty of joyous splashing for the kiddos! To kick off the water play, simply press the button on the prominent red pole.

There's an open wash area conveniently located next to the water play for rinsing off, but do note that dedicated changing rooms are not available.
Convenience at Your Fingertips
One of the standout features of this new playground is its unbeatable location. Being right next to the HDB Hub means you're surrounded by a plethora of amenities. Parents and caregivers will appreciate the numerous seats strategically placed around the playground, offering a perfect spot to relax and supervise the little ones.
Need a bite to eat before or after play? There are countless food options nearby. Forgot something? Neighbourhood shops and a supermarket are just a stone's throw away. Even schools are in the vicinity, making it a fantastic after-school destination.
