You might know of the Science Centre Observatory, but did you know that there is another observatory located at Woodlands Galaxy CC? the observatory has been closed since 2020 and is reopening on 7th October - so read on to find out what to expect!
Looking to catch the glimpse of the planets (did you know that Jupiter is now closest to Earth in 60 years)? For just $1, families can access the Observatory located at the CC's rooftop!
The Takahashi Sky 90 telescopes is a state-of-the-art telescope with a 30cm reflector that is easy to use for beginner astronomers. The roof-top dome also gives you a 360-degree view of the night sky too!
Looking for a unique experience for the kids, this seems like a good option to introduce a new hobby and experience to the entire family!
Prior to the pandemic, the observatory hosts several astronomy workshops and events so do stay tune to their socials on their next event and to learn more about astronomy!
Tickets are available at just $1 per pax and can be purchase from onePA online, or from the CC's counter. Sessions happen every Fri from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
For online purchases, a new QR code will be posted on the Facebook Page to purchase from 5 pm on Friday. If you are purchasing from the CC counter, do note that the counter closes at 6 pm.
