Recently opened in January 2026, Costa Grove wows with four fun playgrounds that are so uniquely designed. From a giant red lobster to mudskipper slides, this is definitely an interesting find for the little ones!Â
Check Out A Giant Red Lobster Playground

First up, a cute playground revolving around a towering red lobster. I believe this must be the ONLY lobster playground available in Singapore!Â

Climb up its spindly legs, which double up as climbing frames and swing stands. Allowing little ones to explore the inside and outside of this fun lobster.

Next, scurry up its tail via a short flight of steps, and tunnel through its body. Little ones can choose from two tunnel slides, both of which make up the lobsterâs pincers. Everything is so thoughtfully designed and super cute!

Youâll find play opportunities in every direction â venture under the lobster to find five swinging balls for some balancing fun. Thereâs also a nifty suspension bridge - don't worry, the bridge isnât located far from the floor, so the little ones wonât have to worry about falling through.
Zoom Down Cute Mudskipper Slides

The cuteness doesnât stop there: venture to the nearby mudskipper slides. 2 carefully designed slides where you enter the mudskipper's mouth, giving so much photo opportunities too!Â

Climb up via a small rock climbing wall â the rocks are delightfully vivid, adding a gorgeous pop of colour to the playground and making it attractive for little ones.Â

There are 2 slides to choose from, a wavy slide and a straight slide â which will you prefer?Â

The slides have a gentle gradient, making them great for little kids. In fact, they can also act as ramps; feel free to climb up one, and zoom down the other!

Targeted at younger ones, the play elements here are smaller and lower in height, making it a perfect spot for those with young ones to spend play time here!Â
Thatâs Not All: Hop Over to the Two Other Playgrounds

Available not too far away are 2 more playgrounds. One is a little playground for toddlers. Come have fun and laughter at this little playground, complete with a seesaw and double slides.

The playground is small and can be easily monitored from this pavilion, allowing parents to rest their weary legs whilst still keeping an eye on their children.

Aligned with the toddler suitability, we especially like the various interactive boards, which focus on numeracy, music, the five senses, and colours.

Feeling tired? Take a break inside this handy cocoon, before diving right back in!

The second playground is small in size too, but caters to slightly older kids with more climbing elements and taller structures.Â

The kids will love the challenge of navigating these slanted rope bridges, as well as climbing in and out of this little treehouse. The playground is covered in yellow and orange hues, adding cheer to a fun play session.

Other play elements include a Christmas tree-shaped spinner, as well as a hammock for kids to swing and pretend to be sun-bathing in!Â
What to Bring
The playgrounds are located on an upper deck, with little to no shelter. The mudskipper slides are sheltered, but still receive plenty of morning sun. It can get really hot across all the playgrounds! So we highly recommend to bring a hat, sunscreen, and lots of water.
A change of clothing after playtime might be helpful, especially if they are drenched in perspiration.Â
Our Experience

Despite the heat, there are many pavilions (with tables and benches) surrounding the playgrounds. We liked the variety of the playgrounds â the lobster playground was our daughterâs favourite!
The playgrounds are located on level two; on level one, a minimart, coffeeshop, and various other shops are just a short walk away making it easy to spend the entire morning or evening here, combined with a meal.Â
Location
The playgrounds are located within the Costa Grove estate. Park at the multi-storey carpark located at Block 589 Pasir Ris Drive 3. Park at Zone D for the lobster playground and mudskipper slides, and Zone B for the other two playgrounds.
However, all four playgrounds are within walking distance, so anywhere will do! The playgrounds are also an 11-minute walk from Pasir Ris MRT.
