Ghee Balls (Nei Urundai)
250g ghee urundai flour
125ml QBB ghee oil
5 tbsp coarsely ground almonds or cashew nuts
Red food coloring
In a mixing bowl, add the flour and 2 tablespoons of nuts and mix well.
Heat the ghee oil in a pan. Pour in the hot oil bit by bit into the flour and mix with a spatula until a dough is formed. The dough should not become too soft or it would not be able to firmly form a ball shape.
Add in red coloring and mix well to form an even colour.
Pinch and shape the dough into small balls.
Place the remaining 3 tablespoons of nuts on a plate. Roll the small balls on the plate so it is covered with nuts.
