Taman Jurong CC is organizing Semarak Budaya as part of the Bulan Bahasa Month (Malay Language Month). It's a good chance to bring your LOs to experience the rich heritage of the Malay culture.
With a population of diverse cultures, the event might be a good opportunity for the LOs of non- Malay families to appreciate a different culture and for Malay families to introduce the culture to the kids too.
During the event, you will get to participate in a range of fringe activities, followed by two hours of stage performance.
The fringe activities include - Traditional Malay Kitchen Display; Malay Culinary recipe Exchange; DIY folded towel for finger bowl; Batik Painting; Children's Wayang Kulit Design; Bunga Mangga; and Traditional Games Display; and feature interesting aspects of the Malay culture.
