What is the Musical About
The Lord of the Rings – A Musical Tale tells the epic story of The Lord of the Rings from the Hobbits’ perspective, as J.R.R. Tolkien's trilogy of books is brought to life on stage.
This musical brings Tolkien's legendary trilogy to life through the eyes of the Hobbits. The story begins with Bilbo Baggins’ 111th birthday celebration and follows Frodo as he embarks on a quest to destroy the powerful One Ring. Along the way, you'll be swept into the enchanting world of Middle-earth, complete with a mesmerizing live score performed by a stellar cast of actor-musicians.
Created by an award-winning team, the production features original music by A.R. Rahman, Värttinä, and Christopher Nightingale. It promises a blend of folk-inspired tunes and breathtaking storytelling that will leave a lasting impression on both longtime fans and newcomers.
