1. Join J'Kids Amusement For Carnival Fun At Oasis Terraces & Canberra Plaza

Venue

  • 28 Sep - 16 Oct at Oasis Terraces 
  • 30 Sep - 16 Oct at Canberra Plaza

Admission: Carnival Games and Amusement Rides start from $5

J'Kids Funland will be happening at 2 neighbourhood malls, Oasis Terraces and Canberra Plaza, starting from this week till 16 Oct 2022! The carnival at Oasis Terraces will start on 28 Sep while the one at Canberra starts from 30 Sep. 

Families can expect a variety of amusement rides and fun carnival game stalls for prizes to be won too! Families can also earn ShopperLink Points on the ShopperLink App at the malls to redeem FREE credits or a FunCard to be used at the carnival!

2. Immerse Yourself At The My Little Pony Pop-up Event @ Takashimaya

Venue: Takashimaya Department Store, Children’s Department Level 4
Dates: 24, 25 Sep,1 & 2 Oct, 12 pm to 6 pm.
Fees: Free

Head down to Takashimaya Department Store's Children's Department over 2 weekends to take part in the My Little Pony Pop-up event! Fans of the popular animation will get to redeem limited edition My Little Pony merchandises simply by adding the upcoming "My Little Pony: Make Your Mark” series to your list on Netflix! If you don't have a Netflix account, you can still redeem the merchandise by subscribing to My Little Pony YouTube channel or follow @HasbroSingapore on Instagram or Facebook! 

That's not all! Create your very own Cutie Mark at the event and post it on Instagram to stand a chance to redeem a limited edition My Little Pont tote bag too! For those who make a purchase of My Little Pony merchandise at the event, you will also receive a limited edition My Little Pony colouring book too!

3. Discover The Indian Culture At The IHC Deepavali Open House

Venue: Indian Heritage Centre
Dates: 1 - 23 Oct 2022
Admission: Free with fees for certain activities

Known as the ‘Festival of Lights’, Deepavali is a celebration of the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. This year, the Indian Heritage Centre’s (IHC) Deepavali Open House welcomes everyone to celebrate the joyous occasion with an exciting array of on-site programmes.

Explore Little India and take in the lights and sounds of the festival light-up (unfortunately the open-top bus tour and trishaw trails of Little India have already been sold out). Families can also drop by the Open House to join workshops and drop-in activities. You will also want to get tickets for the Interactive Storytelling for Children for kids to appreciate the stories around the traditions and values of Deepavali too! 

4. Travel To Japan At Jurong Point's First-ever Japan Matsuri! 

Venue: Jurong Point Shopping Centre, Level1, 1 Jurong West Central 2, Singapore 648886
Date: 12 Sep to 23 Oct 2022, 11am to 9.30pm
Admission: Free

Japan may have open up its borders further, but if you cannot wait to get to the Land of the Rising Sun, why not head down to Jurong Point's Japan Matsuri this weekend to discover Japan-themed family friendly activities! 

Families can look forward to fun matsuri games, tasty Japanese street food yatai, insightful art and cultural performance and much more exciting happening! Including exclusive deals and promotions from various tenants at Jurong Point too! 

5. Sit Behind A (LEGO Replica) McLaren Formula 1 Race Car

Venue: In front of the Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza
Dates: 23 Sep - 2 Oct 2022, 11 am - 9.30 pm
Admission: Free

Here's your chance to sit behind the wheels of a McLaren Formula 1 Race Car - even though it is "only" a stunning LEGO replica of the actual car. Displayed at the LEGO Technic McLaren Formula 1 Pop-Up, the giant build is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of engineering excellence created using 288,315 LEGO bricks that took 1,893 hours to assemble, and measures 5.7 metres in length and 2.4 metres in width!

There will also be 3 interactive activities at the pop-up to test your (and your child's) speed and memory! From challenging the fastest timing to complete a half-assembled 42141 LEGO Technic McLaren Formula 1 Race Car set to a memory game where you will need to remember as many functions of the many buttons on the steering wheel - there will be prizes to be won too! Families can also get a complimentary photo printout with the giant build at the photo-booth too!
