At HSBC SVNS Singapore 2026, families can catch world-class rugby action while enjoying fun-filled activities for kids of all ages. Suntec City comes alive this Year of the Horse with hotpot-inspired play zones, interactive experiences, and festive treats, while CNY Family FUN 2026 at SCCC offers a playful kickstart to the Lunar New Year.

Kids can dive into games, crafts, and endless fun at Light to Night: Power of Play at ACM, and at the newly revamped ActiveSG Sport Park @ Teck Ghee, little ones can splash, play, and move to their heart’s content.

1. Experience Rugby & Family Adventures at HSBC SVNS Singapore 2026

While world-class rugby takes the spotlight, HSBC SVNS Singapore 2026 doubles as a family-friendly playground. The Singapore National Stadium is buzzing with activities for kids of all ages, making it perfect for a high-energy weekend outing.

The heart of the family fun is at Gate 22, where the Kids’ Hangout features stage performances, cartoon screenings, and meet-and-greets with favourites like Peppa Pig, MY LITTLE PONY, and Optimus Prime. Little ones can also enjoy NERF games, PLAY-DOH stations, and face painting, ensuring there’s never a dull moment. Older kids and teens can head to Gates 4 and 5 for Sony PS5 gaming stations or try their hand at 3v2 Touch Rugby and the Touch Carnival, offering a low-pressure way to experience teamwork and the rugby spirit.

Parents can relax thanks to the Kids’ Drop-Off service, where trained minders supervise activities for up to two hours, and ample stroller parking makes navigating the venue easy. Family dining is elevated with offerings from Burnt Ends Hospitality Group, including Meatsmith’s barbecue and Burnt Ends Bakery’s pastries and coffee.

2. Celebrate the Year of the Horse with Hotpot-Inspired Fun at Suntec City

Get ready to usher in the Year of the Horse with Huat A Pot-sperity at Suntec City! Suntec City brings together playful interactive experiences, exclusive collectibles, and rewarding promotions for the young and young at heart.

Over at Suntec City’s Atrium (Tower 1 & 2), visitors can look forward to:

  • POTsperity Yuan Yang Playground (29 Jan – 22 Feb 2026, 11am–9pm): A 5-metre-tall hotpot-themed inflatable 2-in-1 play zone inspired by mala and collagen soup bases. Adults can join the festivities at the interactive stations like Prosperity Pot Master, a fast-paced digital game, and the Lucky Roll Station, where guests create their own stamped red packet keepsake.
  • Mr Merlion & Friends: Prosperity Fest (29 Jan – 22 Feb 2026, Thu to Sun): A lively plush-themed bazaar filled with interactive stalls recreating nostalgic Lunar New Year traditions. Purchase a $88 bundle to enter the experience 

On 20 Feb 2026, the Atrium (Tower 3 & 4) will be filled with the unmistakable rhythm of drums as the mall’s Lion and Dragon Dance Performance takes centre stage. The lively showcase features high-pole lion dance acrobatics by Pho Leng Lion Dance Instruction Centre, and a traditional ‘plucking the greens’ ceremony to usher in prosperity for the year ahead. Adding to the festive cheer, the God of Fortune mascot will be making mall-wide special appearances on selected dates to spread blessings and good cheer.

*POTsperity Yuan Yang playground is free-to-play for Suntec+ Members, with on-site sign-ups available. The inflatable is designed for children aged 4 to 12, with a minimum height requirement of 100cm. Socks are required for entry, and adult supervision is required at all times.

3. Ring in Chinese New Year with CNY Family FUN 2026 at SCCC

Venue: Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and Singapore Conference Hall
Dates: 30 Jan - 1 Feb 2026
Admission: Free

As Chinese New Year draws closer, Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) and Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) are proud to co-present CNY Family FUN (CNYFF) 2026, an annual festive celebration in the heart of the CBD.

CNYFF 2026 will feature a total of 25 cultural programmes taking place at SCCC and Singapore Conference Hall (SCH), including children theatre performances, storytelling sessions, carousel rides, interactive photobooths and family-friendly workshops – all designed to make traditions enjoyable and engaging for today’s Singaporeans, young and old.

A key highlight of CNYFF 2026 will be the free performances by five different local lion dance troupes, taking place on 31 January 2026 and 1 February 2026, from 1pm to 7pm, at SCCC’s Level 1 Concourse. The lion dance performances will showcase the diversity and vibrancy of various lion dance styles, namely Fujian Green Lion Dance, Hainanese Lion Dance, Hakka Qilin Dance, Golden Lion Dance and Fo He Lion Dance. 

Another key highlight of the festival is SCCC’s annual CNY roof garden art installation titled Finding Har驏ny, which features colourful horse sculptures grazing and galloping across SCCC’s Roof Garden. The installation will be on display from now till 20 May 2026, 10am to 10pm daily. 

Visitors to CNYFF 2026 can also take part in a mission-based quest across SCCC and SCH, complete selected CNY activities to collect stamps to redeem festive rewards such as SCCC’s limited-edition red packets, a snack pack or a drink voucher on a while stocks last basis.

4. Play, Craft & Explore at Light to Night: Power of Play at ACM

Venue: Asian Civilisations Museum
Date: 23, 24, 30, 31 January 2026
Fee: Free admission to most activities

Looking for a fun, free evening activity in January? Head to the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) for Light to Night: Power of Play on 23, 24, 30, and 31 January, from 6–10pm. This playful evening blends hands-on games, creative crafts, and live performances, offering fun for the whole family.

Step into giant outdoor games, tabletop adventures, and interactive exhibits inspired by Let’s Play! The Art and Design of Asian Games. Take part in Bingo After Dark to collect stamps and prizes, join game nights featuring party games, strategy boards, TTRPGs, PokĂ©mon and Lorcana beginner tables, or meet local game designers and gaming collectives.

Craft lovers can drop in to make glow-in-the-dark pet tags or custom gaming charms, while explorers can tackle crossword puzzles, ACMverse Roblox quests, and other interactive museum adventures. Giant versions of classic games like aeroplane chess, congkak, and checkers await at ACM Green.

Don’t miss live performances, from Movement Play Jam and ZingO Junior drummers to Singapore Polytechnic’s Dikir Barat showcase. Most activities are free, with discounted entry to the special exhibition.

5. Splash, Play & Move at the Newly Revamped ActiveSG Sport Park @ Teck Ghee

The former Ang Mo Kio Swimming Complex has been transformed into ActiveSG Sport Park @ Teck Ghee, a vibrant, multi-generational playground designed for families to stay active together. From toddlers to grandparents, everyone can find something fun to do here.

The park’s water facilities are a major highlight. A sheltered pool with ramp access makes family swim time comfortable and safe, while the outdoor pool is perfect for traditional swimming and catching some sun. Kids will love the water playground, complete with slides, sprays, water guns, and a giant splashing bucket, while the sensory trail and Jacuzzi offer calming, multi-sensory experiences for children and seniors.

Inclusivity is front and center at this park. A Calming Pod provides a quiet space for those who need a break, while the 1,000sqm gym with HUR machines accommodates seniors and individuals with varying mobility. Ramps throughout the park ensure easy access for all.

For land-based fun, families can enjoy a sheltered futsal court, 3x3 basketball and multi-sport courts, and a 2-storey gym with a Gym Activity Room for upcoming family-friendly classes.
