2. Usher in the Year of the Snake with NHB’s Museum Roundtable Hongbao Campaign 2025

Welcome the Year of the Snake with the National Heritage Board’s Museum Roundtable Hongbao Campaign 2025!

From 21 January to 12 February 2025, visit 48 participating museums and galleries to collect beautifully designed red packets inspired by the Snake zodiac, with each visitor receiving one set of six packets while stocks last.

Explore new venues like the Botanical Art Gallery and Fort Canning Heritage Gallery, alongside returning favorites such as Chinatown Heritage Centre and Civil Defence Heritage Gallery.

3. Ring in the Year of the Snake with Family Fun at One Punggol's Chinese New Year Celebrations

Enjoy live performances including a thrilling Sichuan ‘Chinese Face Changing’ act, gravity-defying acrobatics, and vibrant Lion and Dragon Dance with the traditional ‘cai qing’ ritual for prosperity.

Kids will love interactive activities such as bouncy castles, calligraphy workshops, fan painting, and tabletop games. There will also be melodic performances by the Singapore Institute of Technology.

4. Explore Nature with the Family at the New Mandai Boardwalk

Venue: Mandai Wildlife Reserve
Admission: Free 

Looking for a free and family-friendly outdoor activity? Head to the newly opened Mandai Boardwalk at Mandai Wildlife Reserve! This peaceful 3.3km boardwalk offers stunning views of the Upper Seletar Reservoir and Central Catchment Nature Reserve.

As you stroll, you’ll pass five thematic stations, including Tree Frog’s Hangout and Damselfly’s Wing, showcasing the connection between the forest and water ecosystems.

The boardwalk, open daily from 7am to 7pm, is wheelchair accessible and ideal for visitors of all ages. Easily accessible from River Wonders or Mandai Wildlife East, it’s an ideal outing for families and nature lovers alike!
