Here's a list of weekly family fun events and experiences for you to create family fun this week! 

Here's our weekly list of family fun to-dos to help you create lots of fun times with the kids! This week, families can explore the family activities at the Singapore Airshow, take part in an outdoor expedition as part of the Battle for Singapore 2024, experience the colours and sounds at Chingay 2024, or bring ah-gong and ah-ma for a free cable car ride!

1. Family Fun at the Singapore Airshow 2024

Venue: Changi Exhibition Centre
Dates: 24 - 25 Feb 2024
Admission: From $17

Aviation enthusiasts and families can look forward to more fun with the return of "Weekend@Airshow," formerly known as Public Days at the Singapore Airshow 2024. Scheduled for the 24-25 February 2024 weekend, this thrilling event will transform the Changi Exhibition Centre into a hub of excitement with aviation themed family-friendly activities.

Weekend@Airshow tickets can be purchased from SISTIC starting January 2, 2024, at the following prices:

  • $34 for adults,
  • $17 for children aged 3 to 12 years, 
  • $240 for the group package, which includes 4 tickets and 1 car park label

2. Battle For Singapore 2024: Surviving The Wild by Beyond Expeditions SG

Venue: Reflections at Bukit Chandu
Date: 
24 & 25 Feb 2024, 11am to 4.30pm
Admission: Free

As part of Battle for Singapore 2024, families can visit Reflection at Bukit Chandu to take part in a series of activities where kids will learn survival skills in the wild! 

In times of war, survival skills play a critical role in enabling individuals to overcome adversity, secure essential resources and adapt to unforeseen circumstances. Pick up skills similar to those used by military troops in Singapore during wartime such as rope weaving, camouflage techniques and map-reading skills. Survival activities are guided by local outdoor adventure team, Beyond Expeditions Singapore. This year, enjoy a more immersive experience as you travel through a forest in the dark in our special forest maze set-up.

Complete all survival stations and bring home a mystery gift!

3. Take in the Sights and Sounds at Chingay 2024

Venue: F1 Pit Building
Dates: 23 & 24 Feb 2024, 8 pm
Admission$60 / $50 / $40 / $28.50 / $20

At Chingay Parade 2024, audiences will be busked in the captivating theme of “Blossom.” The theme signifies the growth, transformation and flourishing of both individuals and communities and Chingay’s aspiration for like-minded people and partners to come together to blossom as one community. 

Tickets are priced at $60, $50, $40, $28.50 and $20 (excludes booking fee). PAssion Card Members get to enjoy 20% discount!

4. Enjoy a Complimentary Cable Car Rides on Tuesday

Venue: Mount Faber Peak
Dates: Every Tues in Feb and Mar
Admission: Free for 60 years old and above

In conjunction with Singapore Cable Car’s golden jubilee, Mount Faber Leisure Group is extending an invitation to Singaporean seniors aged 60 and above to be part of the celebration to relive their cable car experience – at no charge – every Tuesday through February and March 2024.

On top of a complimentary round-trip ride, Singaporean seniors will also receive a $5 F&B voucher that can be used across all F&B establishments operated by MFLG.
