For the first time in Southeast Asia, internationally renowned Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde brings his poetic installation SPARK to Singapore.
After enchanting audiences across the world in a diversity of cities such as London, Bilbao, Tokyo, Melbourne, Riyadh and Auckland, SPARK makes its Southeast Asian debut at Gardens by the Bay – transforming the Lawn at Supertree Grove into a mesmerising spectacle for four nights.
Thousands of Floating Lights
Over four magical nights, thousands of silent, floating light sparks will drift across the Supertree Grove – moving with the wind. A reimagination of fireworks, SPARK is inspired by both fireflies and the stars in the sky.
SPARK is presented by Gardens by the Bay, IMBA and H&B, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Singapore. It is part of the National Day celebrations line-up at Gardens by the Bay this August. This year also marks 60 years of strong bilateral ties between the Netherlands and Singapore.
