The annual Singapore Botanic Gardens Heritage Festival is back and it promises both online and onsite activities for families!

From 9 to 17 October 2021, the Singapore Botanic Gardens will bring you through a fun-filled journey with activities such as tours, concert and DIY Trail virtually as part of the Singapore Botanic Gardens Heritage Festival 2021.

Arts@SBG presents NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Gardens
Concerts in the gardens are a pre-covid must-go, and unfortunately, these concerts have not happened for awhile. Don't fret! For the heritage festival, there will be an online edition of the NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Gardens series for families to enjoy an intimate jazz evening from the comfort of your home!
Take this up a notch by organising a home picnic (or even at a nearby park) while streaming the concert online!
Children’s Heritage Virtual Tour
Venue: Online, Zoom
Date: 9 & 17 October, 10.30 am
Join the inaugural children’s heritage virtual tour to learn about the history of Singapore Botanic Gardens including the lesser known and fun facts! This session will be presented by a guide live via Zoom!
Suitable for children aged 9 to 12 years old.

Come on an adventure and follow the Heritage trail of Singapore Botanic Gardens in search for answers for a crossword puzzle with your family! The trial will guide you through the park as you search for the answers to answer the trail card.
Forest Discovery Centre @ OCBC Arboretum
Venue: Gallop Extension
Date: 9 am - 6 pm, Daily, closed last Thu of the month
The Forest Discovery Centre @ OCBC Arboretum showcases the forest ecosystems in Singapore and highlights the importance of conserving them through a series of interpretive and interactive displays. Visitors can enjoy a bird’s eye view of Singapore’s diverse forests and the Gardens’ historical role in conserving them through a photographic installation of forest trees found in various local habitats.
*You may wish to visit this as part of a trip to the outdoor playground, COMO Adventure Grove, also located at the Gallop Extension.
Seed Bank Interpretive Gallery
Venue: Singapore Botanic Gardens Seed Bank
Date: 9 am - 6 pm, Daily, closed last Fri of the month
Learn about the Singapore Botanic Gardens Seed Bank, a conservation, research and education facility in the Singapore Botanic Gardens that focuses on conserving plant species by preserving the seeds and germplasm of plants in Southeast Asia.
Visit the bank's interpretive gallery that introduces the Seed Bank and explains its importance to plant conservation and research in Singapore and the region, as well as a seed dispersal garden with seed sculptures showing the different seed dispersal mechanisms.
