Singaporeans can look forward to fireworks at 11 locations in the heartlands well as online events to usher in 2021!

While there will be no fireworks at this year's Marina Bay New Year's Eve countdown, Singaporeans may still look forward to inviting the New Year with fireworks closer to home - at 11 heartland locations to be exact!
Fireworks Locations
The fireworks will be happening across 11 HDB towns, this includes
- Bedok
- Bishan
- Boon Lay
- Geylang
- Hougang
- Jurong
- Nanyang ward in West Coast GRC
- Tampines
- Tiong Bahru
- Woodlands and
- Yew Tee
The exact locations are still unknown, but perhaps you may wish to use the National Day fireworks locations as a starting point to make your guesses.
Online and Other Events
Fireworks will also be live-streamed on the Facebook pages of selected constituencies, as part of the People's Association's year-end events.
Other highlights include Marsiling- Yew Tee GRC Virtual Countdown 2020, on 31 Dec from 10.30pm featuring local artists, and a slew of online activities organised for the Nanyang ward in West Coast GRC, with activities from 10pm on New Year's Eve.
If you like to head down to Marina Bay, you will get to experience 2 lightshows that will take place till 31 Dec 2020, including Shine A Light, and the light projection Share The Moment. These will take place from 8pm to 10.30pm daily, with extended shows on New Year's Eve with the last show at 11.45pm!
