NDP 2024 will take place at the Padang with heartland celebrations and fireworks happening throughout the island too!

Singapore will celebrate its National Day in 2024 at the Padang. Families who managed to get tickets to the Padang can expect to catch the Red Lions parachute team, a total defence parade and more!

Total Defence 40 Dynamic Defence Display

Families can expect, for the first time, a Total Defence 40 Dynamic Defence Display at the Padang with air-land components from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) working hand-in-hand.

RSAF Island Flypast

As part of the Fly Our Flag segment, two CH-47SD/F heavy lift helicopters - each escorted by two AH-64D Apache attack helicopters - will carry the state flag around Singapore from 5.45pm to 6.30pm on Aug 9. There are 2 routes for those eager to catch the flag!

The western route will include locations such as Woodlands, Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Jurong and West Coast.
The eastern route will comprise areas such as Seletar, Sengkang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok and East Coast.

Six F-16s will also conduct a flypast from around 6pm to 6.30pm, and can be seen from locations such as Clementi, Jurong West, Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok, Woodlands, Toa Payoh, Seletar, Punggol and Bendemeer.

Festivities Expanded to Marina Bay

NDP celebration will extend to the Promontory @ Marina Bay, co-organised with NTUC. Attendees can enjoy fireworks, the TD40 D3 high-speed maritime chase and aerial display live, participate in carnival activities, watch stage performances, and view a live telecast of the NDP at the Padang.

Heartland Celebrations

The festivities will continue the next day, with Heartland Celebrations on 10 August from 4 pm to 9 pm, co-organised with the People's Association. The celebrations will be held at 5 locations.

Families can enjoy crowd favourites such as fireworks, interactive family-friendly activities and static displays of Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singapore Police Force and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) vehicles. Various schools, ActiveSG’s Dance of the Nation and Yellow Ribbon Singapore as well as community interest groups will put up live entertainment too!

There are 100,000 tickets available for collection on a first come, first served basis, but members of the public without tickets are still welcome to attend the event, as long as space permits.

From 12 July 2024 onwards, the public can collect the National Day Heartland Celebrations tickets for their district at their nearest Community Clubs/ Centres. Each member of the public can collect up to a maximum of two tickets, while stocks last.The list of CCs where tickets can be collected can be found here.

NDP packs will also be given to those with tickets only. While stocks last!

NDP Ticketing

Ticket applications for NDP 2024 at the Padang opens on 27 May 2024, 12:00pm (SGT) and closes on 10 Jun 2024, 12:00pm (SGT). All Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible to apply for the tickets.

A Singpass account is required to submit an application. Those without a Singpass are recommended to

Register for Singpass (for individuals aged 15 and above); or
Seek assistance from a family member or trusted person who has a Singpass account to apply for the tickets on your behalf; or
Visit ServiceSG Centres for in-person assistance with setting up a Singpass account or for further assistance on ticket applications. Visitors to ServiceSG Centres are required to bring their original NRIC for verification.

Each ticket admits ONE spectator only, regardless of age, including infants carried in arms.

Applicants can choose to apply for two (2), four (4), or six (6) tickets for any of the three NDP shows:

Successful applicants will receive notification via the email address provided during the application process, from 21 to 25 June 2024. The notification will only be sent from ndp2024@klook.com.

Note that these places do get crowded quickly - especially with photographers and others wanting to catch a glimpse of the parade (it is not just about getting to the venue, do consider how you will be leaving - more about catching the NDP 2024 Fireworks).
