Madagascar the Musical, a live adaption of the Dreamworks animated franchise will be coming to Singapore from 18 to 28 Jan 2024 as part of its international tour and will be performing at the Esplanade's Theatres by the Bay.
Madagascar... but LIVE
The LIVE performance will tell the story of Alex the lion and his best friends Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo, escaping New York’s Central Park Zoo with the help of some prodigious penguins to explore the world.
Families can expect elaborate display of dance, music, puppetry, costumes and stage design. It will also include storytelling, choreography and the film’s iconic tunes.
Only Stop in Southeast Asia
Singapore will be the first and only stop in Southeast Asia and will feature a cast and crew of 30 from the United Kingdom, including award-winning director, Kirk Jameson.
