The popular Kampong G(e)lamping @ MHC is back for the March 2021 school holidays! Wake up in the lovely grounds of the Malay Heritage Centre at this 2D1N cultural experience!

Back in Oct 2020, the Malay Heritage Centre ran it's inaugural Kampong G(e)lamping @ MHC program and it was a smashing success with tickets sold within the first few hours of coming online!
It is no surprise that the heritage centre is bringing it back for the March school holidays, and giving families another opportunity to experience this unique Singapore experience!
What To Expect?
Wake up on the lovely grounds of the Malay Heritage Centre, after spending an afternoon and night being immersed in the rich Malay cultural atmosphere of the Kampong Gelam heritage precinct.
This 2D1N cultural experience will have you and your family try your hand at cooking exquisite Malay cuisine, go on a guided tour of MHC's permanent and special exhibition galleries as well as the historic Kampong Gelam precinct, and be rejuvenated with a beginners yoga session to wrap up your g(e)lamping experience.
Package Includes
The package is suitable for up to 4 individuals, which includes adults and children (2 yrs and above).
To get you comfortable, the organisers have included in the package 2 queen-sized beds (with pillows and blanket), a 70-inch projector screen with unlimited access to movies and shows, free Wi-Fi, portable aircon & fan, 2 large bean bags, a cooler box with ice, and decorative props for taking IG-worthy shots!

What will you be doing?
Check-in is at 2pm and check-out at 10am the next day.
Day 1
- 2.00pm – Check-in & welcome
- 2.15pm – Guided walking tour of Kampong Gelam
- 5.00pm – Guided tour of MHC’s permanent & special exhibition galleries
- 6.00pm – Outdoor cooking class & dinner
- 7.00pm – Free & easy, entertainment
- 11.00pm – Lights out
Day 2
- 8.00am – Beginner yoga class
- 9.00am – Breakfast
- 10.00am – Check-out
Availability and Pricing
There will only be 10 slots available - 2 for each day from 16 to 20 Mar 2021. Booking is on a first come first served basis and is priced at $450 per package.
