With the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026 returning to the Marina Bay Street Circuit from 9 to 11 October 2026, the Grand Prix™ Season Singapore (GPSS) brings race-themed excitement across the island.
You don't need main race tickets to soak in the high-octane atmosphere. From interactive simulator games to legendary car displays, here are the best family-friendly F1-themed activities and events to check out with your kids.
1. F1 Thursday Pit Lane Experience

Venue: Marina Bay Street Circuit
Date & Time: 8 October 2026, 7:30 PM
Admission: FREE (Pre-registration ballot required)
The ultimate behind-the-scenes experience for motorsport fans, the F1 Thursday Pit Lane Experience gives successful applicants a chance to walk down the pit lane and see the Formula 1 cars up close inside the team garages the day before track action begins. This year's event also grants access to the Zone 1 F1 Village, featuring interactive game stalls and family activities.
Up to 4,500 tickets are available via a ballot open exclusively to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents. Successful ballot applicants receive two tickets each, with no race ticket required.
BYKidO Tip: The ballot is open until 18 September 2026 (11:59 PM). If you have young racing enthusiasts at home, submit your entry online early as space is strictly limited.
2. Formula 1® Exhibition: Legendary Race Cars

Making its debut in Singapore, the official Formula 1® Exhibition features historic race cars, iconic driver suits, and gear spanning 75 years of motorsport history.
Children can view legendary vehicles up close—including the Red Bull RB7 and BAR Honda 005—and explore immersive multimedia galleries that break down the technology and story behind the sport. The showcase also features racing simulators where older kids and parents can test their lap times.
3. WEAVE: F1 Gaming Zone & Race Simulator

If your kids enjoy virtual racing, head over to WEAVE for a hands-on gaming experience. The Lenovo Gaming Zone on Level 1 features force-feedback racing simulators configured to recreate the feel of driving an F1 car, along with stations running EA Sports F1®25.

4. #RevUpSG F1 Heartland Watch Parties & Interactive Stalls

Organised by Singapore GP, the #RevUpSG heartland pop-ups bring the Grand Prix atmosphere into public neighborhood hubs.
In addition to live race broadcasts of preceding Grands Prix, these weekend roadshows feature hands-on stations for kids, including reaction-time test games, race simulators, and a simulated sports commentator booth where children can try calling a race.
5. LEGO® Experience the Thrill

Sports-loving families can explore two dedicated motorsport pop-up experiences located across Raffles City and Funan.
At Raffles City, visitors can view the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team showcar, test their driving skills on adrenaline-fuelled simulators, and browse exclusive race-edition apparel collections. Over at Funan, families can get an up-close look at the Audi R26 F1 show car (featuring a special Singapore edition livery from 8 October) and test their reflexes in immersive racing challenges.
9. Breitling F1 Experience Pop-Up & Official Merchandise Booth

10. Paws, Play, Pitstop at Wildseed Café
