This June school holiday, you will get to experience four local cultures ā Malay, Peranakan, Indian, and Chinese ā over four weekends through Facebook āLiveā Gameshows, Exclusive Online Craft Workshops, and food heritage.
Exclusive Online Craft Workshops
Get busy with your hands in this series of Exclusive Online Craft Workshops.Ā
Held every Saturday at 3 pm, you can explore Batik Painting on Malay Week (4 ā 10 Jun), get creative with Tile Painting on Peranakan Week (11 ā 17 Jun), try your hand at making a Flower Garland on Indian Week (18 ā 24 Jun), and get colourful with Rainbow Calligraphy on Chinese Week (25 ā 30 Jun).Ā
Craft kits are available at $30 per kit for HomeTeamNS members and $36 for non-members. You can purchase up to 2 craft kits per workshop. As the craft kits will be delivered to registered participants, you are required to register at least 5 days before the day of the workshop.Ā
āLiveā Gameshows
Gather the family around every Wednesday at 8 pm to participate in a āLiveā Gameshow on theĀ HomeTeamNS Khatib FacebookĀ page. Games like Pictionary, Charades, Trivia Night, and Speak-out will put your mind to work! Be sure to know your cultures as they are prizes to be won for correct answers!Ā
