Access Asian Civilisations Museum’s collection of artifacts, kid-friendly online activities like trail mazes as well as the resources for Saturdays@ACM: A Whole New World. You can also join Singaporean artist Alecia Neo n a visual journey in ramah-tamah, an interpretive piece inspired by the practices of culturally diverse women across generations, presented as part of Home, and Away, held in conjunction with the Singapore Heritage Festival.
Also part of the event are tales of objects that have traveled around the world as well as and connections among ACM’s objects from the staff and docents, some of whom you may have seen around in the museum.Â

If you’re intending to drop by the museum, check out the new third floor galleries, themed collectively as Materials and Design. Decorative arts are the focus of these new galleries.

Presented by The Storytelling Centre Limited and The Arts House, StoryFest is an annual festival that celebrates and showcases a variety of styles, repertoire, and cultural arts presentations of storytelling from Singapore and around the world.
StoryFest Online 2020, themed ‘The Heart of Story’, will be featuring local storytellers as well as emerging storytelling talents presenting a series of folklore and fairytales. Little ones can also look forward to plenty of singalong stories and talking animals.

3. ToTally Science Digital Edition

ToTally Science, Singapore’s first-ever toddler science program that allows little ones to learn through play and enquiry has gone digital. You can register for the program online and you will be sent an activity kit, which will come in handy for your 40 mins online workshop with KidsSTOP science educators.
While it might be too late to register for Travelling Tots on 1 Jul 2020, which explores more on cars, boats and aeroplanes, you can instead keep an eye out for the upcoming Science in the Kitchen on 1 Aug 2020.
