The Yakult Factory Tour is a 1.5 hour tour of the state-of-the-art plant located at Senoko Avenue (Woodlands). It has welcomed visitors across all ages from pre-schoolers to senior citizens!
The physical tour has resumed from 10 Aug 2022, and here are what you can expect on a visit!
Introduction to Yakult
At the start of the tour, families will get to watch a presentation on the background of Yakult and the products. There will be sharing around the benefits of probiotics and the role the good guy bacteria, L. casei strain Shirota, plays in the maintenance of the digestive system.
You will also get to enjoy a deliciously refreshing Yakult!
*Did you know that Yakult comes in 3 different sizes across the world - 65g, 85g, and 100g - the one in Singapore is the largest 100g.
A Tour Around The Factory
Next, families will be guided through the high-tech production process through the glass-walled viewing gallery. You will get to watch how Yakult is cultured, packed and sealed!

You will not actually get to enter the factory grounds, but the glass walls were specially constructed to provide clear viewing and, prevent contamination and accidents on the factory floor.
Available Sessions
The Yakult Factory Tour runs for 1.5hour and is available from Mon to Fri, except Public Holidays. Below are the slots available each day.
Non- School Holiday
- Morning session: 10 am - 11.30 am
- Afternoon session: 2 pm - 3.30 pm
School Holiday
- Morning session: 9.30 am - 11.00 am
- Mid-session: 11.30 am - 1 pm
- Afternoon session: 2 pm - 3.30 pm

Tours are free, and can be booked by calling 6257 7882 or email, pr@yakult.sg. You will need to have a min. of 20 pax to book a session, and up to 40 pax, or you can stay tune to Yakult's social media where they open public sessions on a regular basis too.
