Nestled in the picturesque Punggol Point area, adjacent to Punggol Point Park, these innovative playgrounds pay homage to a remarkable piece of Singapore's heritage: the original Punggol Zoo. Back in the day, a visionary known as William Lawrence Soma Basapa, Singapore’s very own "Animal Man," had an extensive collection of animals, which eventually formed the nation's first public zoo right here in Punggol.

Today, this rich history is brought to life through five distinct, animal-inspired play zones. Each area imaginatively recreates different natural habitats, allowing children to encounter playful renditions of creatures that once roamed the historic Punggol Zoo. Expect vibrant panels and thoughtfully designed structures that truly capture the spirit of these wild inhabitants.

Swings and Banyan Tree @ Blk 436A

Located in front of Blk 436A, kids can climb and swing at the play structures, watched closely by the wild animals that roam the playground! Look out for the tiger perched on the tree trunk as you enjoy a swinging fun time!

For the Younger Ones at Blk 435B

Little ones and toddlers can enjoy play time with the Tapir and Sunbear at this play space with play structures that include a lower slide, stepping logs and play panels too. These provide a safe and stimulating environment for toddlers and preschoolers to play, learn and have fun!

Savannah Animals - Giraffe, Elephant and More at Blk 438B

At Blk 438B, families will find animals that are most popular with kids! Play amongst the savannah-themed playground with the Giraffe, Elephant and Zebra! There are lots of rope obstacles and climbing structures that appear like you are climbing on the animals!

It seems apt that we have monkeys and apes swinging at the rooftop garden on the MCP at Blk 435. Play like the primates by balancing, swinging and climbing across the play structures! There are other play equipment like a see-saw and 4-way spring rocker!

Kelong Playground at Blk 436B

Families will also discover a Kelong playground located at Blk 436B. Kids can climb into the little huts, balance across the wooden bridge, weave through the wooden poles and slide down the little slide!

And do look out for the birds that are perched on the top of the wooden poles, overlooking the estate.
