Say Ahoy! and let the kids have fun at this shop-themed playground. A playground where every age has its own space

Location: Pasir Ris Street 11
Openinng Hours: Daily 24hrs (7pm - 7am, park lighting)
Admission: FREE

Have a little sailor in your troop? Come on down to the ship-themed playground at Park Aquaria! It consists of two parts: a bigger playground for five to twelve year olds, as well as a smaller playgrounds for two to five year olds.

For the Older Kids: All Aboard!

Made out of two ship-like structures, this playground offers lots of daring climbing opportunities for the older kids.

Make your way up ladders, ropes, and more. There’s even a little vertical tunnel made from rope. Your kids will definitely love the challenge!

At the top, you’ll find a sprawling climbing net, alongside a mini rock climbing wall. Our daredevil three-and-a-half-year-old toddler managed to complete this on her own; but, for kids that are a little more wary, this play area might not be the most suitable.

They might prefer hanging out on the little swing instead!

For the Younger Kids: Smaller in Scale, but Still Big on Fun

Alternatively, let them play at the adjacent playground that specially caters to the little ones.

Crouch down to enter the sailboat via a small hole, and pass messages through the talking tube. There’s a rope climbing section here as well, which has been scaled down for the little ones.

A plank bridge connects the two boats — our toddlers are all about pretend play, and they loved pretending to hold on for dear life. At one end, you’ll find a nifty steering wheel for all aspiring ship captains; at the other, two inviting sets of slides await. Are your kids team blue or team yellow?

There are some educational interactive boards too, with sliding puzzles and a depiction of the water cycle.

What to Bring

Don’t forget the sunblock if you’re visiting on a sunny day, as the playground is entirely exposed to the elements. Don’t worry if it suddenly pours, as the playground is surrounded by HDB blocks! Psst, remember to pack your water bottle, wet tissues, and insect repellent too.

Our Experience

We especially liked how the playground had two play areas suitable for different ages. There are benches at each play area, making it easy for parents to keep watch. The best part? The playground doesn’t get too crowded; we visited on a Sunday evening, and had a lovely time.
