There's a new place to play in Tanjong Pagar - the new Eco-Playground at Tanjong Pagar!

Venue: Discover Tanjong Pagar Community Green (in front of Guoco Tower and Orchid Hotel)
Admission: Free

Discover Tanjong Pagar (DTP) Community Green is a small field located in front of Guoco Tower and Orchard Hotel at Tanjong Pagar. Through engagement with the community, a eco-playground has been created in this space for children and pets to have fun at!

Eco-Playground

The playground is built using repurposed tree logs and aims to encourage pretend play, spark creation & discovery amongst children. The simple playground allows children to climb and jump from the logs placed in the park. There is also lots of space between the play structures, allowing kids to run around too.

The use of repurpose tree logs are quite common for nature playgrounds. Not only does it promote environmental sustainability, it is versatile enough to be made into different types of structures and not lose the fun factor too!

Families will also find logs made into trains, sunbeds and more - most are suitable for parents to sit and to take a break at while the kids have fun!

Pet-Friendly Too

The venue is also pet-friendly, so not just parents but fur-parents may also wish to visit this new play area too!

What To Bring?

We don't think the play venue is a place that you will visit on purpose but more of a "by the way" place to visit. Especially since the area is surrounded by a number of popular eateries, so it might be useful to keep the little ones entertained while waiting in queue.

You probably will not need anything in particular when visiting, but do bring along water bottles, wet wipes and insect repellant.
