Bedok Reservoir Park Therapeutic Garden With Interactive Rock Garden

Share with other Parents or Go Back

The first therapeutic garden to be built over a former sand quarry, the Therapeutic Garden at Bedok Reservoir boast an interactive rock garden as one of its features.

The 1,650sqm Therapeutic Garden @ Bedok Reservoir Park overlooks the scenic Bedok Reservoir. As the first therapeutic garden to be built over a former sand quarry, it is designed with stones and boulders incorporated into the garden’s features and amenities to reflect its heritage.

Interactive Rock Garden

The interactive rock garden is a space for visitors to balance rocks. By offering a peaceful environment for you to concentrate (and switch off from the surrounding), the process is meant to be therapeutic.

Alternatively, it is a great activity to practice patience with the kids as you challenge each other to a game of highest / most stable rock formation.

The rocks come in four different sizes and types, giving you the opportunity to explore different ways of creating your rock formation. There are lots of possible lessons in this simple activity, but in my opinion, concentrate on the play, fun and spending time together.

Other Amenities

Families can also sit by the pavilion which offers an unobstructed, scenic view of the reservoir. You will even find a fitness zone and even a little rock fountain too.

What To Bring

The usual for outdoor activities, including sunscreen, insect repellant, water bottles and wet wipes.
