The park features 13 toddler-friendly rides scattered between its three main themes—Fantasy Forest and Dream Sea, Magical Planet and Toy Soldier Kingdom.

At the Fantasy Forest and Dream Ocean, you’ll find rides like the Ocean Carousel, adorned with depictions of marine life in the Taiwanese ocean, and the Poli Ferris Wheel decorated with characters from the popular Robocar Poli animation, such as Poli, Amber and Helly. For the slightly more adventurous kids, there are rides like the Swing Ship and Drop Tower.

If that’s not enough action, explore the Magical Planet where rides like Telecombat, Wave Swinger, Monorail, and Magic Star Trek, a roller coaster ride inspired by Optimus Prime from Transformers, will whiz you through the air.

The Toy Soldier Kingdom is where the Bumper Cars, Spinning Chairs, Tea Cups, and Dancing Fly is.
While children above 100 cm have more options, little ones below 85 cm and under the age of 2 have a limited choice between the Ocean Carousel, Poli Ferris Wheel and Monorail.

For the tiny tots who are too tiny for the rides, they can have their fun at either one (or both) of the free playgrounds. One is situated in the outdoors with a large sandpit and an inclusive play area with slides. The other is located indoors and requires a prior reservation.
(Please note that both the free playgrounds are currently temporarily closed. The indoor playground is set to open Jan 2020 while the outdoor playground is to open in June 2020.)
In addition to the 13 rides, Taipei Children’s Amusement Park also houses coin-operated game machines, three other Small Rides, suitable for kids under 110 cm in height or 90 kg in weight, and Kawaii Candy Land, an indoor play centre with slides, ball pit and sand tables for tots under six, under outside management.
While Taipei Children’s Amusement Park may not have a crazy selection of rides, they do have a little something for little ones of different ages. If you’re not too tired after going on a wild ride at the park, you can also check out the nearby attractions like the Meilun Park, National Taiwan Science Education Center and the Taipei Astronomical Museum, which boasts Asia’s biggest planetarium.
