Catch your breath while your kids are busy exhausting their energy at the KidsAwesome Children’s Museum of Taipei, a hands-on museum just for little ones!

If you’re looking for something to do with your kids without being out and about in the weather, be it scorching or pouring, the KidsAwesome Children’s Museum of Taipei is one place you can consider.

Located in the Da’an District, just a short walk away from the Daan Metro Station, KidsAwesome Children’s Museum offers an assortment of activities, enough to keep your little ones busy for hours on end!

13 themed-areas offers a little bit of Arts, Science and Sports!

With 13 themed display areas, each providing a different kind of interactive activity, this museum designed for children, is more parallel to an indoor playground than a museum!

Little ones are sure to put their imaginations hard at work with a campsite and a wobbly canoe ready to teleport them into exciting adventures! If that’s not enough stimulation, they can fly rockets and shop for fresh produce at the Farmer’s Market.

If the little ones have had enough of ziplining and creating gigantic bubbles (which might be a long time later), they’re also free to express their artistic side with craft activities and drawing on the wall.

For a bit more of a challenge, kids can climb to the top of the replica Taipei 101 Tower. We hear the view is quite breath-taking.

While the toddlers are having the time of their life, don’t worry about your tiny tots being left out for they have a dedicated play area with crawl spaces and baby-friendly toys to keep them busy.

Indoor café refuels you for another round of play!

The children’s museum also houses a café on the first floor of its building, which offers a small selection of snacks and drinks.

Since your admission ticket allows multiple entries, you can also choose to exit the building for lunch as there are a few eateries within walking distance, such as the KIKI Restaurant.

The KidsAwesome Children’s Museum of Taipei would make for a suitable play space for babies up to 7 years old, though children up to 9 years old would be able to enjoy the space.

You will probably need at least two hours for your kids to explore the museum’s various exhibits but you’re free to explore the space for as long as your little one wishes to, which could end up taking half a day before you know it.

While reservation to the museum is not necessary during weekdays and public holidays, it is required during weekends as that is when the place tends to attract a bigger crowd.
