For those interested to start their home gardening journey, you may register with NParks to receive a packet containing seeds of one species of leafy vegetable and a guide on how to grow these vegetables. The seeds available are

  • Chinese Flowering Cabbage (Cai Xin)
  • Chinese Kale (Kai Lan)
  • Bayam (Green)
  • Kangkong
  • Xiao Bai Cai
  • Bayam (Green & Red)
  • Nai Bai Cai
  • Kow Peck Chye (Jiu Bai)

You will receive a random seed type but each seed pack has more than enough seeds for the growing of one plant cycle so you can also try to exchange seeds with friends, family members or neighbours!
