Here's a list of red packets that you may wish to consider collecting this Lunar New Year!

Maybe you are an avid collector of red packets? Or maybe you just like to collect certain designs? We have prepared information on some of the red packets available this year, and how you can collect them! 

39 Designs from the Museum Roundtable 

The 9th edition of the popular Museum Roundtable Lunar New Year Hongbao Campaign will return from 6 Jan to 3 Feb where families can go around the island to collect unique red packet designs from each of the 39 participating museums, heritage institutions and galleries! Each visitor is entitled to only one complimentary set of red packets per museum or gallery, while stocks last and each set will include 8 red packets. 

The National Heritage Board (NHB) will also be producing a limited edition collector’s album available for sale. Each collector’s album will contain two full sets of 39 MR red packet designs for the Year of the Rabbit, and a special edition design for NHB that will only be available in the album. 

Geneco Red Packet Recycling Bins Across Singapore

Geneco has launched its 2023 Lunar New Year campaign, called #GreenForProsperity. The design of the red packets this year celebrates Singapore's unique biodiversity landscape, while spotlighting conservation efforts to protect Singapore's wildlife.

While we love to collect red packets, it is important to note the environmental impact it has. So we like to share this green initiative, where Geneco has placed recycling bins across 30 retail and office locations to encourage the recycling of used red packets amongst the public from 3 January - 31 March 2023.  

CNY Red Packets 2023 @ Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre

In conjunction with Chinese New Year, Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and the artists of (Tu)gether - Fiona Koh and Warren Khong had created a uniquely red-and-gold packet featuring the loveable cast from the exhibition.

The illustrations feature the various ways Chinese New Year is celebrated in Singapore, such as the tossing of yusheng, giving red packets, exchange of mandarin oranges, lion dance performances and reunion dinner.

The various red packets are emblazoned with auspicious Chinese sayings such as” wan shi ru yi” (万事如意), which means “Good luck in everything”, making it an excellent gift for a prosperous new year. Additionally, each set consists of two blank red packets along with two pieces of stickers to allow you to create your own personalised red packet.

Daily Ang Bao Giveaway at Universal Studios Singapore

From 22 to 30 January 2023, visit Universal Studios Singapore and receive a lucky red packet filled with exciting goodies such as Universal Express passes, retail or food vouchers, plushies and more, while stocks last!

LEGO Red Packets at Suntec City

Eco-Friendly Red Packets from City Square Mall

As 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, shoppers at City Square Mall can look forward to redeeming a set of 6-piece red packets along with a Reusable Lucky Carrot Bag with $88 ($138 if inclusive of NTUC FairPrice, Q & M and/or Schools receipts) spent! The red packets are made of eco-friendly papers with paper bands as part of the mall’s eco-friendly initiatives.

White Rabbit Ang Baos from Pop-up Stores

The official White Rabbit Candy will be having 2 pop-up stores where families can discover a limited-edition collection that includes commemorative metal candy boxes, mahjong-themed cookies as well as exclusive merchandise that will be available for purchase. The stores are located at Tang Plaza B1 (now till 19 Jan) and at VivoCity Central Court Atrium (now till 20 Jan). 

Each purchase at the pop-up stores will also entitle you to pick up a packet of six special White Rabbit Ang Paos for just $2!

Exclusive Set of Red Packets and Mandarin Orange Carrier

ION+ Rewards Members can look forward to redeeming an exclusive set of red packets and a mandarin orange carrier this year in the colours pink and gold, with an oriental design and bonsai motif, symbolising luck. Red packets, mandarin orange carrier and mandarin orange pouch are redeemable from the Concierge Counters with a minimum spend of S$80. While stocks last.

Winnie the Pooh Red Packets With Lifebuoy

Maneki-nekos Red Packets @ Lendlease Managed Malls

Maneki-neko, a cherry blossom spotted fortune cat in a tiger’s disguise, ushers in a kawaii Year of the Tiger across Lendlease managed malls - 313@somerset, Jem®, Parkway Parade, and Paya Lebar Quarter.

You will find Maneki-neko-themed decor at the malls as well as collect Maneki-nekos designed red packets during this festive period! To collect the red packet, you simply need to spend a min. of $80 at the mall. There are 4 unique Maneki-neko red packet designs to be collected, one from each mall. 

Tree-Free Red Packets From The Malls of Frasers Property

Made entirely from sugarcane pulp, the malls of Frasers Property have designed tree-free red packets for a greener Lunar New Year! These vibrant and festive red packets have a significantly reduced environmental impact while keeping the yearly tradition of giving and receiving red packets!

To redeem these red packets, simply spend a minimum of $68 in three same-day, same mall transactions to receive two sets of red packets.

*Update (21 Jan 2022): Red packets at Anchorpoint, Bedok Point, Causeway Point, Northpoint City, Waterway Point and YewTee Point are fully redeemed.

Year of The Tiger Lucky Red Packets from Skechers

 

As a tribute to the zodiac animal, the Tiger, the bright red packet with tinges of gold, yellow and orange features an auspicious-looking lion head that opens up to reveal an adorable, playful tiger, all dressed up in a Skechers blue hoodie and ready to celebrate!

Skechers is giving out a packet of five angbaos with every minimum spend of $100 nett, available at all Skechers stores islandwide, while stocks last.

Disney Tsum Tsum Red Packets From Changi Airport / Jewel Changi Airport

Over at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport, families may redeem 2 different designs of Disney Tsum Tsum Red Packets. 

Spend $60 at participating F&B outlets in T1 and T3 to redeem a set of Disney Tsum Tsum Red Packet from Changi Airport. Redemptions can be done on iChangi app using the Playpass function or at T3B2 Info Counter. 

Over at Jewel, spend a min of $80 in a single receipt to redeem an exclusive set of Disney Tsum Tsum red packets. Redemptions can be done at the L1 Concierge between 10am to 10pm daily.
