If you don’t already know, CNY goodies and early bird specials appear as early as November – good news for those who plan and place orders in advance. For those who prefer to work a little closer to the festivity, it is still worth doing a stock take of your storage, compare unit prices versus bulk purchase and note expiry dates of products before you hit the shops.Â

Bee Cheng Hiang must be one of everyone’s perennial favourites, and their CNY specials are highly anticipated. Besides the convenience of pre-orders for home delivery and popular products such as bak kwa value packs, seasonal new flavours, festive hampers and other snacks, their factory sale is one of our CNY must-go!Â

Besides being another familiar bak kwa brand boasting an equally strong lineup of festive goodies, we are quite taken with their Disney-themed bak kwa and exclusive merchandise set, as well as no-fuss reunion dishes that require just heating up to serve – these are available online so remember to check them out alongside your trip to their factory!

If you have not already gotten what you need from your nearest supermarket, Hosen’s warehouse sale is definitely worth a stopover to sweep their family favourites. Their variety of canned seafood (love their abalone and clam assortment!) and fruits make hosting meals easier as we mix and match fresh produce with provisions that last slightly longer.Â
4. Lim Siang Huat Frozen Food

If you haven’t heard of this frozen food retailer, it’s been in Singapore since 1940. What we like about them is their huge assortment of products across baking needs, beverages, frozen foods and other groceries – even F&B owners support them! And we can see why, given their variety, prices and online order options of delivery or self-collection! Remember to check them out for steamboat-friendly items as well as Yu Sheng sets.
5. Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre

Here’s a wet market turned chic brand that caught our attention for its lovely combination of traditional offerings and third-generation business creativity. Their CNY collections boast mahjong-themed handmade goodies, roast meat, dim sum and steamboat essentials. Have your online orders delivered to your home or opt for self pick-up!  Â
7. Tai Sun
Another must-have snack brand to munch on when hosting or house visiting, where else better to stock up on their nuts, chips and festive goodies than their warehouse at Pandan Loop? Their warehouse sale runs till 13 February, and resumes on 20 February if you haven’t had enough for CNY.Â

If you don’t mind driving up a little more, this mall has our thumbs-up for its tenancy mix. Soaking in the festive mood is unlikely the only activity we’ll get done while here, though they do have a vibrant line-up of activities all through 18 February.Â

Another top of mind brand for nuts and snacks, the Tong Garden CNY Warehouse Sale has been going on since December! Love their festive packs which make good gifts. Â
