Swensen’s, is returning to Singapore Changi Airport at Terminal 3 on 1 December 2020. To celebrate, Swensen’s will rewarding one person with a lifetime’s worth of Swensen’s signature Earthquake!

Swensen’s first foray into Changi Airport was in 1981, situated in Terminal 1, the outlet was the world’s largest Swensen’s outlet at the time and provided passengers a retreat, where they could enjoy ice cream while watching planes take off from the runway. 

Nine years after the opening of the Terminal 1 outlet, Swensen’s unveiled a second outlet in Terminal 2, where it stood for 30 years until the Terminal’s closure for renovations in May 2020. 

After a hiatus, Swensen’s is returning to Changi Airport, this time setting up shop in Terminal 3. The return makes Swensen’s the longest-standing brand at the airport – marking 39 long years! Swensen’s is conveniently located next to other visitor and family-friendly facilities such as the The Slide@T3, ST3Ps, and themed playgrounds KinderPlay and Sanrio Playground.

From 1 Dec 2020 to 31 Jan 2021, take part in the "A Lifetime Sweeter with Swensen's" contest by dining at the new outlet, snapping a photo and sharing it on Instagram, together with a short write-up on why you would like to win a lifetime supply – one Earthquake per month for up to 100 years – of Earthquakes, valued at a whopping $33,615.12 (value includes GST and service charge)! 

The Earthquake comprises eight scoops of ice cream (flavours of choice), accompanied with eight toppings, which include Whipped Cream and the quintessential Maraschino Cherry. The massive sundae sits in a vintage footed glass bowl, and is served with dry ice, making for an impressive entrance each time.

The new restaurant will also be offering the “Bring Your Kids Out” opening promotion from 1 Dec to 30 Dec 2020 to encourage family dining. With every two mains purchased, diners may enjoy up to two complimentary kid’s meal (worth $9.90 each) per bill.
