1. Explore Giant Lanterns and Family Fun
at Gardens by the Bay

Dates: 12 – 27 September 2026, 6 pm to 10 pm daily
Admission: Free (selected workshop fees and Flower Dome ticket charges apply)
Gardens by the Bay lights up this Mid-Autumn with giant lantern displays featuring original character Fenbao. Follow the trail around the Gardens to spot highlights like a celestial whale at Dragonfly Lake and illuminated underwater scenes at Supertree Grove.
Families can also explore the Colonnade of Lights with 1,000 hand-painted lanterns, join craft activities on selected dates, and enjoy food, carnival games and rides near Supertree Grove.
Look out for the LED Lion Dance on 12 September and the Singapore Big Flag Championship and closing Dragon Dance on 27 September.
Over at the Flower Dome, Lilytopia (5–27 September) takes families into an ancient Egyptian-inspired world with themed displays and activities.

2. Step Into a Giant Botanical Playground at Bloomyard at IMBA Theatre

Venue: IMBA Theatre, West Lawn (next to Bayfront Plaza), Gardens by the Bay
Dates: 10 Sep – 25 Oct 2026
Admission:
- Singapore Residents: $20 (Adults 13+), $15 (Children 3–12)
- Non-Residents: $25 (Adults 13+), $20 (Children 3–12)
- Free entry for children under 3
Looking for an indoor activity for the September school holidays? Bloomyard transforms IMBA Theatre into a giant botanical playground where families can interact with colourful oversized blooms and artwork by British art duo Graphic Rewilding.
Kids can play mini golf, swing among the flowers and challenge each other to flower-shaped ping pong, making this more than just an art exhibition.

3. Explore Immersive Riverfront Experiences
at Singapore River Festival 2026

Venue: Along Singapore River
Dates: 11 - 20 Sep 2026
Admission: Free with paid activities
Step into the 10th edition of Singapore River Festival (SRF) from 11–20 September 2026, with immersive light and sound experiences happening along the river.
Highlights include The River Echo Chambers at Boat Quay, where projections bring the river’s stories to life, and The River Rhapsody at Clarke Quay’s Read Bridge, an interactive dance floor where your movements trigger lights, colours and sounds.
Families can also slow down at The Flow of Serenity or hop aboard a scenic bumboat cruise from Clarke Quay to Boat Quay and Robertson Quay to enjoy the riverfront nightscape.

4. Join the Panda Birthday Celebrations &
Explore a New Immersive Experience at River Wonders

Venue: River Wonders (Pavilion Capital Giant Panda Forest & surrounding areas)
Dates:
- Panda Planet Exhibition: 4 – 14 September 2026 (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily, last entry 5:00 PM)
- Kai Kai’s Birthday Treat: 13 September 2026, 12:00 PM
Fees: Included with River Wonders admission tickets. Every ticket comes with a $5 retail voucher and $5 F&B voucher (minimum spend of $20 applies).
Celebrate Jia Jia’s 18th and Kai Kai’s 19th birthdays at River Wonders this September school holidays, with special birthday treats and a brand-new interactive exhibition.
The Panda Planet Immersive Experience, making its international debut, takes kids through interactive zones covering panda evolution, conservation and Le Le, plus a mixed-reality bamboo forest. There are also trivia challenges and photo spots where kids can win exclusive iPanda merchandise.

Calling all little witches and wizards! This school holiday, The Young Wizard’s Magical Adventure at The Wizard’s Brew lets kids dress up, create magic and enjoy a wizard-themed feast.
Little wizards can transform into character with cloaks and wands, make bubbling potion bombs, reveal a magical pizza and decorate their own cakes.
