Rainforest Wild Asia, Singapore's newest wildlife park, opens on 12 March 2025 at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, offering a 13-hectare adventure with walk-through habitats, wildlife tracking, rock climbing, and caving expeditions.

Home to 36 iconic species, including the Malayan tiger, François' langur, and Malayan sun bear, the park features diverse zones like The Karsts, The Canopy, and The Watering Hole, where visitors can experience breathtaking wildlife encounters. Thrill-seekers can enjoy freefall jumps, via ferrata climbs, and cave explorations, while families can dine at Singapore's first cave restaurant or other scenic eateries.

2. Experience Gemilang Kampong Gelam 2025: A 35-Day Ramadan Celebration

Venue: One Kampong Gelam
Date: 19 Feb to 25 Mar 2025
Admission: Prices start from $10 and vary depending on the activities

Immerse yourself in culture, community, and culinary delights at Gemilang Kampong Gelam 2025!

Savour crowd-favorite bites from 80 food stalls, shop for festive treats and fashion, and join hands-on workshops like Arabic calligraphy and upcycling coffee grounds. Be mesmerized by the 5.1 Surround Sound Sultan Mosque Light Show (Fridays to Sundays) and vibrant performances, from Joget Parades to celebrity showcases.

Explore Kampong Gelam through the Kampong Tour & Hunt, take part in the Charity Run, and gather for the annual Mass Iftar with 1,000 participants. Happening 19 February to 25 March 2025, with eco-friendly initiatives like solar-powered generators and discounts for bringing your own bottle.

3. Step Back in Time: Explore Singapore's WWII History at the Battle for Singapore Festival

Date: now to 2 Mar 2025

From now until 2 March 2025, immerse yourself in Singapore’s WWII history at the annual Battle for Singapore festival. This year’s edition features over 20 captivating experiences, including exclusive tours, expert-led discussions, and hands-on workshops.

Highlights include the Fort Siloso Twilight Tour, an after-hours exploration guided by historians Dr. John Kwok and Muhammad Saifullah Kamaludin, and A Soldier’s Kit – Field Rations, where visitors can interact with WWII-era soldier essentials at Reflections at Bukit Chandu. History enthusiasts can retrace the chaos of Singapore’s fall with the Day Zero Bus Tour, gain rare access to Tengah Air Base on the Singapore Air Force Museum Tour, and examine wartime strategies at Can Singapore Be Defended? in the Battlebox at Fort Canning.

For a unique perspective, the WWII Through Toys exhibit at the MINT Museum of Toys showcases how wartime toys shaped young minds. The festival also features immersive re-enactments, expert talks, and guided storytelling sessions at historic sites.
