Keep the kids entertained @ SAFRA Tampines this March Holidays with Fundamental Movement Skills multi-sports experience, and an array of sports try-outs and trials, most of them available for free!
From 16 March 2021, families may head down to the March Holiday Special at SAFRA Tampines for a series of sporty and fun activities aimed at introducing new sports to the kids and keeping them entertained too!
Each activity takes place across different dates and time with a cap on the maximum no. of participants. Registration is required and most activities are free for SAFRA members or just $5 for guests! Read on for the details!
KiDS Challenge - A Fun And Learning Experience!
Date: 21 Mar 2021, Sunday
Time: 9 am - 11.30 am | 10.30 am - 1 pm | 1 pm - 3.30 pm
Venue: Multi Purpose Court / Squash Courts 1 & 2
Fees: $5 (SAFRA Member) | $10 (Guest) - Suitable for 4 - 10 yr old only
KiDS Challenge is a highly interactive and engaging multi-sports experience designed for 4 - 10 yr old. Kids will be participating in a series of multi-sports stations, where they will be assessed on their Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) while having fun!
*FMS form the building blocks for more complex sports skills to be developed in children.
KiDS Challenge features 3 main components:
- Dynamic Games Zones
- "Let's Play" Parent-child Challenge (parent participation is required)
- Fundamental Movement Skills Assessment with Individualised Child Report
At the end of having fun, the little ones will also bring home:
- Fundamental Movement skills assessment report of your child by certified KiDS™ Assessors (worth $80)
- Junior medal upon the completion of the event
- SAFRA Tampines goodie bag

You may not have heard of Pickleball, but this unique paddlesport is one of the fastest growing sport globally! Take part in this combination of Badminton, Table Tennis and Tennis, and experience for yourselves the fun of the sport!

Laser Shooting Trials are not readily available just anywhere. A specialised venue with the right equipment is needed, and this is exactly what is available at SAFRA Tampines. Come and let your kids test their accuracy and focus in this 30min laser shooting trial. Do they have the aptitude for shooting?

Note: This trial is recommended for 7 yrs old and above. Participants are to come in covered shoes with long pants.
