Celebrate the 15th anniversary of the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) with a weekend family carnival at Suntec City on 4 and 5 Nov 2023. Families will get to hear from cancer survivors, the healthcare team from NCIS and have fun at the same time too!
On the first day of the carnival, witness the bell-ringing ceremony with Guest-of-Honour, Ms Jane Ittogi, and cancer survivors. The ringing of the bell marks the end of a patient’s cancer treatment journey, heralding the start of a new chapter filled with hope and resilience.
NCIS Fights Cancer Mobile Game
NCIS will be launching a new “NCIS Fights Cancer” interactive mobile game. In this engaging web game, players embark on exciting missions while learning valuable facts on preventing cancer. Contribute to cancer research and help needy cancer patients through in-game purchases, where all proceeds go to the NCIS Cancer Fund.

Learn More About Cancer
Over two days at the carnival, there will be a series of talks by experts on how diet can help reduce one’s cancer risk, how patients can fight cancer with exercise and tips on coping with cancer fatigue.
A special edition of the Winning Against Cancer public symposium, organised in conjunction with NCIS Celebrates Lives, will also take place at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre on 4 November. Learn about screening for lung cancer and surgical advancements in the management of the disease. Hear how awake brain surgery works and what role a medical social worker can play in a patient’s cancer journey.
Contribute to the Fight
Visitors can donate $20 to receive a coupon booklet on site to spend at the food and beverage stalls, play games and win prizes, including Razer gadgets – as well as to redeem a free goodie bag.
