A Partnership with Pathlight School

Conceptualised by students from Pathlight School in partnership with The Artground, M.A.P. brings the imaginative world of future transport possibilities to life.

Pathlight School students participated in various conceptualisation workshops and Arts Learning Journeys organised by The Artground. The results of these workshops, together with the artistic inputs of The Artground are evident throughout the arts space design, reflecting the creativity and enthusiasm of each participant.

A Creative Play Space

At the heart of the exhibition lies the M.A.P. gantry, inviting families to explore a world of futuristic wonders. Similar to boarding public transport, families will receive an access card upon entry, enhancing the experience with an element of excitement. Just tap to enter and begin the adventure!

Start your adventure at the Bendy Bus, where large blue foam awaits, ready to be transformed into larger-than-life vehicles and transportation systems.

Next, hop onto the Roller Coaster MRT, a futuristic marvel inspired by student designs, complete with interactive videos showcasing the future of transportation and promoting social etiquette.

At the Tinkering Terminal, unleash your imagination and design future modes of transportation using digital drawing boards and wooden pieces, as you draw inspiration from Pathlight School students’ creations.

Step into the Flying Bus, a cosy corner filled with cushions, where you can relax while learning fun facts about local transportation systems from Pathlight School students. Baby Control offers a safe space for toddlers to explore, while My Awesome Place (MAP) invites families to customise Singapore’s map with themed magnets. Finally, climb and slide at the Scrap Yard, featuring authentic MRT handles for an added touch of authenticity.
