Celebrate the end of SG60 at Marina Bay with a month of spectacular light shows, festive markets, and a breathtaking 30-minute fireworks display.

As Singapore prepares to bid farewell to its milestone SG60 year, the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2026 emerges as the premier destination for families to gather and celebrate. Presented by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), this month-long extravaganza offers a vibrant mix of art, music, and festivities designed to inspire young and old alike.
Dazzling Light Projections for the Whole Family

A key highlight for families is the Brightening Lives light projection show. From 26 to 31 December 2025, the façade of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore will be transformed into a massive digital canvas. This year’s theme, "Thriving Beyond Limits," features incredible artworks by artists with disabilities from ART:DIS.Â
Take a look at our video of the projection show!
Parents can use this opportunity to engage children with stories of resilience and community through three main artworks:
- My Island Home: A nostalgic trip through Singapore’s early trading days.
- Threads That Knit: A colourful depiction of everyday HDB life and playgrounds.
-
Future Takes Flight: A playful, abstract vision of a city where nature and technology coexist.

Additionally, UOB Plaza 1 will host the "Sharing Joy" showcase from 18 to 31 December, featuring stunning ASEAN artworks that illuminate the skyline starting from 8:00pm nightly.
Festive Fun at Togetherland

For families seeking "eat and play" experiences, Togetherland by World Christmas Market is a must-visit. Moving to a new, larger home at the Bayfront Event Space, the festival is now double its previous size, spanning 20,000 square metres.
Running from 11 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, the theme "A Christmas Constellation" promises immersive attractions and sustainable activities. It serves as the perfect hub for parents to let children explore while soaking in the festive holiday atmosphere.
Musical Performances and Free Entertainment

The Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay will host the Come Together @ Esplanade series throughout December. These free performances at the Concourse and DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre feature local talents such as Hey Pelican!, Amni Musfirah, and Heema Izzati, offering a wonderful way for families to enjoy world-class music in a relaxed, open-air setting.
A Spectacular 30-Minute Fireworks Finale

The month’s festivities culminate on New Year’s Eve with ELYSIUM, a 360-degree fireworks musical. Unlike traditional displays, this is a specially curated hour-long cinematic score beginning at 11:00pm on 31 December. Families will be treated to a total of 30 minutes of fireworks, transforming the Marina Bay skyline into a vivid symphony of light and colour to welcome 2026.
Below are some suggested places to catch the fireworks at the Marina Bay.Â
